Sir, patriotism is the foundation stone for nationalism. if both installed togather in a citizen then that citizen becomes an enlightened one who profess " Nation above all" before prioritising any activity. It just reflect on everything he does & says. Such r a few one a nation does have but a day to day living a life compromises all aspects & activities, so at this point we do debate on patriotism & nationalism. As tomorrow is 15 Aug so we stimulate govt sponsered & officiated patriotism to remember all the Great souls who contributed & brought for us independence,& the mechanism & system of self governance. Mine is "Har Dil Patriots" bcz of my Sipahi upbringing. But my observation on patriotism is that no to greed, no to corruption,no to compromise our integrity, no to harrasment to our fellow citizens & no to all negatives which r letting down us as to becoming a great people & nation. But selling forcefully our national flags & hoisting it just to impress is not the real one
