With a dramatic growth in elementary education enrolments and improvements in retention and transition rates in recent years, particularly amongst the more disadvantaged groups, there is an increasing pressure on the secondary schools to admit more students. With the enforcement of RTE Act and further improvement in retention and transition rates, demand for secondary schooling will grow rapidly in the coming years. The objective of this discussion group is to assess to what extent we have made quality education available, accessible and affordable to the target population in the age group of 14–18 years. How we can increase access to post elementary education across the country in a manner so as to ensure no child is denied the opportunity of completing his/her school education. In particular, how can we address the geographical and social disparities in secondary education?

माध्यमिक शाळामध्ये सर्व विध्यार्थ्यासाठी पुरेसे शिक्षक नाहीत.माध्यमिक शाळेची सोय घरापासून जवळ असो किंवा दूर असो पण विध्यार्थ्यांना वाचनालय ,प्रयोगशाळा,मैदान ,फक्त खेळासाठी trainer शिक्षक गोष्टी असाव्यात आणि त्यांचा पुरेपूर वापर करावा.आणि वर्षातून एकदा तरी एखाद्या स्वयंसेवी संस्थे मार्फत याची वस्तुनिष्ठ तपासणी करण्यात यावी.

कौशल्यावर आधारित अभ्यासक्रम हवा
ज्याचा वापर विद्यार्थी शाळेत असतानाच आपल्या दैनंदिन जीवनात करू शकेल

Secondary And Higher Secondary Education is must be available near the students home.
Student Have To be chance to get very easy examination station.
Some technical education should be involved in Secondary Education . This may help student to get the job in their future. If they got confidence on some easy topics they will never lose Higher Secondary Education no any fees compulsion should be in this sector..

Adolescent education should be included in syllabus.Appointment of counsellor should be mandatory in all the schools.The syllabus of all board throughout the India should be uniform atleast for mathematics and science.Free and compulsory education policy should be extended till HSC level. Curriculm and exams papers should be enhancing critical thinking of the students.Brain mapping of each student shud b done at upper primary levl 2 identify the skill set of d stdnt n shld b channalised prly
