Taking serious note of the latest decision of the National Green Tribunal (NGT), the Chandigarh Administration has speed up the enforcement of ban imposed on the use of polythene ...
#mygov
Sir, immediately banning a thing is not the solution for any problem and immediate results can't be gained through such enforcement. So in order for the people as well government to function together the amount in which plastic is produced should be reduced so that it no longer available in future and the plastic which is present can be currently exchanged with jute bags.
Hello sir,
If the plastic waste segregation can be done, the waste can be used to lay roads as happened in Jamshedpur by JUSCO i.e. Jamshedpur Utility and Services Company.. Great work by JUSCO.. So awareness has to be created among public to segregate plastic waste n that should be used for construction of roads...
In order to control the problem of plastic carry bags all the factories manufacturing such bags in chandigarh and nearby areas should be asked to stop the same and instead as an alternative they should start making carry bags with recycled materials.
My point is how plastic is creating pollution. Is plastic a problem or throwing plastic in open or to say throwing everything on streets is a problem. If we do not throw garbage on roads and government implements a law where like developed countries garbage is managed and not thrown on streets then will not the scenario change.
Plastic is not a problem. We are putting everything in carry bags and throwing on roads and streets.
Where in the world we throw garbage on roads.
sir, imposing plastic bag is a need as it leads to pollution, but there should be alternative material which can be used in place of plastic bag or any other plastic material which can be easily available, environment friendly and get at a convenient price as in case of plastic, then only people will stop purchasing plastic bag, else even after banning plastic bag with no alternative is no use. as the people has got no other option, only banning plastic bag will increase the demand for plastic bag
promote recycling industry in every domestic and industrial waste
Segregation of waste is must. Plastic bags are the main hurdle for this as people throw way wet waste in plastic bags. Only solution is complete ban of plastic bags (selling , using, making). Government can't collect waste from every house. So it should provide places to collect segregated waste in every locality. There should be very high fine for violations.
I don't want ban on Plastic bag.. I rather want recycling-reuse structure set up for all kind of garbage-trash as we are so huge in population & for us only way out is through recycle-reuse. recycle or reuse structure for plastic, metal, row garbage, electronics trash specially for daily produced trash. & creating habit in people to always separate the possible recycle trash that can be very useful for nation.
Sir fisrt put some dustbeen in everyplace for proper disposal of solid waste, there are very less dustbeen, so i nd people dont have cgoice otherthen to through garbage here nd there, u should use money to put dustbeen nd its proper cleaning ratherthen wasting it on advertisement of swakshabharat,
There r various types of bags like virgin quality and recycled quallity the recycled plastic is the one which is picked form the trash bins and without proper washing/cleaning is recycled which contains a lot of germs/infection and is harmful if advertised then also people will stop using the same and if a carry handle is provided with all products packaging then also the use will reduce automatically and the industries are advised to make use of zip pouches in packaging so that people reuse it
