In order to design an interoperable ecosystem of data, applications and processes, there is a need to formulate a policy for the Government Organizations to provide Open Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). The “Policy on Open APIs for Government of India” has been drafted to encourage formal use of Open APIs in Government Organizations. This policy sets out the Government’s approach on the use of “Open APIs” to promote software interoperability for all e-Governance applications & systems and provide access to data & services for promoting participation of citizens and other stakeholders.

You are requested to provide your inputs on the policy and suggest implementation approach across the government.

1. All Govt. websites should have a responsive design.Shud adjust the content as per the screen. 2. All Govt. websites should offer a platform to users to interact directly with ministers. Every minister should run a mini "mygov" website of his/her own. We don't always have grievances but suggestions too! 3. Once in a while diff ministries can have a Google Hangout/Chai pe charcha with concerned ministers. Townhall meetings! 4. Infrastructure at NIC should be spruced up. More servers needed!

Today Airforce issues instructions to their men not to use chinese GSM phone for security reasons. But majority of phones in Indian Market are either imported from china or manufactured from SKD kit from China. Action on war footing is needed to resolve inverted duty structure for electronics to commence manufacturing in India.

Under EU law, personal data can only be gathered legally under strict conditions, for a legitimate purpose.Persons or organisations which collect and manage our personal information must protect it from misuse and must respect certain rights of the data owners which are guaranteed by EU law. Why this third world treatment to Indians? Are we lesser of human beings? Are we an inferior race or ehnic group?

Can we have a India Data Protection law on the lines of Europe which enables individuals to request social media, banks, retail websites to respect their privacy. Whenever we open a bank account, join a social networking website or book a flight online,we hand over vital personal information such as your name, address and credit card number. What happens to this data? Could it fall into the wrong hands? What rights do we have regarding your personal information? Europeans hve it why not us indians?

I appreciate your recent visit to J&K to know ground situation and problems being faced by flood victims. Today there were newsreports that with the onset of rains, temperature has started dropping. In this situation, I think PM should depute at least a team of one or two Cabinet ministers to Srinagar for at least 15-20 days or more who should have ample financial/administrative powers at their command to speed up the rehabilitation programme and report directly to PM. Regards.

Create app like "instagram" to fight with anti-social elements. Whenever anyone find any anti-social activities can take snap of it and upload in app. That image will be send automatically to nearest police station. The app should take details of GPS location of that area ie to take PIN Code into consideration, so it will be easier to manage data. Off course police needs to take action . That data should be published on website without revealing the identity of uploader.
