In order to design an interoperable ecosystem of data, applications and processes, there is a need to formulate a policy for the Government Organizations to provide Open Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). The “Policy on Open APIs for Government of India” has been drafted to encourage formal use of Open APIs in Government Organizations. This policy sets out the Government’s approach on the use of “Open APIs” to promote software interoperability for all e-Governance applications & systems and provide access to data & services for promoting participation of citizens and other stakeholders.

You are requested to provide your inputs on the policy and suggest implementation approach across the government.

1.The objective of Open API policy may add promotion of domain specific R&D and innovation.2.There should be a national leval centralize repository of OPENAPI.3.OpenAPI should support Indian languages via Unicode.4.API should be RESTFUL API.5.API should be classified domain wise to address domain specific metadata needs.6.Open API should gather, generate enough metadata from system so that it can be added with main data to meet the requirements of forensic, archival and preservation purpose.

A suggestion on the need to map all roads in cities ward wise with details of laying of roads along with time stamp and details of the contractors, digging of roads for utilities. The roads are in a pathetic condition as there is no control over different agencies and we being a pioneer in IT we should create a database and a single window clearance with digital mapping to see why the roads are deteriorating. Would like to contribute in creating such a data base for monitoring infrastructure

Sir
Respected Prime Min
All Indian languages including Hindi r going to die in the near future because of the increasing influence of English.Non eng-speaking people r regarded as 2nd class citizen.Gov policy can change the scenario. English is a must languages to learn. But all entrance & Gov job oriented exams should be held in state languages & Hindi(max 3 languages in 1 state). In the Parliament translator machine should be used to communicate with the MPs who do not know Hindi & English.

Hi Sir, Please look at the attached article on violence against women. I don’t know how we can change our attitude towards women. I myself have suffered this situation for my dearest sister. My sister is post graduate and B.ed still she suffered lot. Our male dominated society does not know that everyone has right to think and keep their opinion. At last she has to come to my parents place with 2 daughters.
This happens because our education system and law enforcement is very weak. We need drastic measure. Please do something sir... http://www.bbc.co.uk/hindi/india/2014/11/141110_men_admit_violence_women_pk
