In order to design an interoperable ecosystem of data, applications and processes, there is a need to formulate a policy for the Government Organizations to provide Open Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). The “Policy on Open APIs for Government of India” has been drafted to encourage formal use of Open APIs in Government Organizations. This policy sets out the Government’s approach on the use of “Open APIs” to promote software interoperability for all e-Governance applications & systems and provide access to data & services for promoting participation of citizens and other stakeholders.

You are requested to provide your inputs on the policy and suggest implementation approach across the government.

Here is a idea to install digital display board in each coaches of train, If the digital display installed in all trains over India inside coaches showing present and next railway station name with expected time it will be very help full for crores of passengers especially in trains travelling during night that too for peoples getting down in mid nights. This may be fixed either on distance travelled or wireless connection from railway station as train arrives the radius of 3kms from station .

Hai..I am final year B.sc Horticulture student my home town is Tumkur and my College is at Gokak so frequently I will be travelling in train.The difficulty I saw is while travelling it will be night so the peoples who want to get down at stations particularly in mid night cant get which station is this and train will be late too.So inside coach both side we can fix a digital display which shows the present station name so it will b easy this can be either by kms or wireless from railway station

Hello Modi Ji, Hope you are doing fine, Would like to post regarding the democracy and system, Would like to see corrupt less country and i see there are lots of such is still in place, But one thing, The rules in India from govt needs to be changed a lot, As Bikramjit said in his comments we should have a unique identification for each and every citizen of this country which gives the entire details of person. Irrespective of person. This will give us a big change in India..

Sir is it possible to create WiFi zone and only those people use it who have bsnl connection .. That's also benefit for our own telecom company (bsnl)

adhar card system should apply everywhere possible one number identify and this number person identify ID education qualification info. bank account statue poverty info. medical chart,income etc. Government able collect data every single prospect healthcare level,education level,crime level in India,basic income citizen, black money in real-estate,bank account etc. First big step should be step identify machine with aahdar number system metro city railway station (1)

Our Primeminister modi is always speaking about digital india... but government telecom bsnl have no future atall .. at thise stage bsnl some antibiotic medicines ........... so first improve the great condition of bsnl.

Adhar is doing compulsory but registration centres are not there to make new adhar ids so on. these complain coming from every gov. should start door 2 door service like polio day we provide medic service every child with help NGO etc.door 2 door service idea simple like bank sector many bank opening account at door.

one number unique identify Aahdar Card should every sector from education,business,healthcare,bank transfer,poverty deals, Give one number unique to every citizen government able collect Data on every possible black money,population,medical disease. with connecting education with aahdar card gov. can short list best candidate best job.

Adhar is doing compulsory but registration centres are not there to make new adhar ids so by new govn take another registration programme throught India for them they were not got there adhar I'd please some r suffering pls
