We have e- tickets, e-shopping, etc. then why not internet based student support services!!! Students are always harassed for such administrative tasks. Students living far from their college have to travel just for a piece of paper for appearing exams!!! It takes away time and energy which are crucial.

I am a student from M.com from Mumbai University appearing for last semester exams in next two days. Every semester we get our hall tickets prior a week and this semester we got it yesterday (3 days before exam commencement). Exam form filling is undertaken at the start of the semester but such is a pathetic condition!!! I would like that future students (at least in metro cities) will have access to hall tickets online. Students can concentrate on studying rather than running to colleges.

No. of MBBS seats in the medical profession are increasing day-by-day.
But PG seats in the "clinical" field are not increasing that much. Due to this, competition is increasing everyday. It is getting very difficult for the students. Moreover, if you want to deliver true health quality in rural and everywhere else, we need Post-graduates (MD/MS/DNB), not just MBBS doctors. Increase PG seats & remove quotas for post-graduation.
A MBBS doctor is not that poor. He can work hard & EARN a PG seat.

After 12th many students have no choice except Engg, Doctor or Commerce. Vocational courses should be given more preference and people should be able to attend them freely. In fact every locality should have one. Workers, technician, mechanic and electricians, these people make things not the engineers. Engineers design. Creating separate vocational courses in these streams with proper govt. exams like 10th and colleges would take pressure of the engineering colleges.

Instead of the quota/reservation, we can have the schools intake a specific composition of students 10% top merit, 65% average merit and 25% poor merit students, and these students will sit together. This will make no school special. All schools will perform more or less equally. School's maximum fees and minimum facilities should be fixed by Central Govt.
Financial aid only for parents with low income directly from Central Govt not based on caste.

Because he is paying the fee and if he is not qualified to become an engg just dont give him degree, but whats happening is he is provided a engg degree and told that he is an engg.and when looks for a job then he realises that he simply doesnt has knowledge. the system has lied to him about his qualification and played with his future. The main motto of posting my view is that "Give him a degree only if he is qualified otherwise not".you have to make engg study a Practical purpose not Bookish.2/2

Sir, today there is an environment that the quality of education in Engineering sector is such in poor taste that it is only producing useless not qualified enggs. Now this system is self contradicting itself as if they dont hv knowledge, how dis they get the engg. degree? And if they got engg degree why they dont hv knowledge. The system cant act as it is not to be blamed for this downfall in education quality. This is playing with the future of students who want to serve the country as engneers1/2

Jay Chan, if it is that easy to make people realize that corruption is bad, then why don't YOU take the initiative. For goodness sakes, post practical ideas and ways on how to successfully implement them .... not moral lessons. Everybody has moral knowledge, including the corrupts and selfish. Post HOW you can make these people ethical. And if you cannot give practical ideas the don't post "orders" like - " make the realize ...".

Indians like to be selfish. They forget the society is the real house. Social good is much important. Make them realize this. If they cannot afford to work for better society, thinking selfish, then tomorrow their children will live in a bad society effecting them.
