"Let us join this mass movement Surajya, Realise the hopes and aspirations of the people and take India to greater heights!" this site and this words are just a cover up for NOT DOING ANYTHING. We are where we were and with this judiciary system we can see are future heading NOWHERE. All the governments are the same just fulfill their selfish needs.

Promoting students upto 8th standard to higher class without proper assessment (as per current education policy) is quite damaging. Such students are being brought up without any foundation. We are, in fact, playing with their future. It requires urgent attention.

We need to get rid of our reservation system. It has done more harm than good. Not only are these systems not fair, but they are not economical. By giving an unfair advantage to certain groups, the nation is actively discriminating one group. More importantly, what is happening is that all these fake marks don't reflect the quality of our workforce and we lose the chance of brilliant workers who don't get these reservations. The government should help those who are in need. We need to change.

Quality never come cheap so applicable in Education too. Without excellent teachers no educational institute becomes excellent. Nation-wide teachers training program framework is need of hour. But I fear that it can be taken away by so called Educationists(A4 size degree holders-Ph.D and others), Bureaucrats etc. Must be compulsory for all teachers of all boards. Only improving quality of basic education can bring good citizens.

Government should reduce the retirement age from 60 to 58.Teachers after the age of 55+ are physically, mentally, psychologically so down that they are big burden on the system. For few votes government increase it up to 62.What a tragedy to the system.Make a policy throughout the country that retirement age can not be increased from 60 in any condition.

In government schools, throughout the year teachers are busy in distributing stiphends to students. It should be once in a whole year.

Regarding Pharmacy Latest course revision for undergraduate pharmacy students was done in the year 1991. I am wondering what are the people in Pharmacy Council of India and of various state councils are doing? Instead of making a existing course better they have started a new course Pharm D. What is the Purpose? There are also specializations at Masters like Pharmacy Practice and Hospital Pharmacy. Why? when the purpose of the Pharmacy graduates is to read & dispense prescriptions only.

Recently ISM has been made into IIT, I fail to understand how does branding help. The institute was built to address the need of Earth Science & related technologies. The institute later introduced integrated courses in Earth sciences awarding degrees in 5 years which a lateral entrant takes 6 years. Just clearing an IIt-entrance means you get 1 year discount, such non-sense should be stopped.
