How can we enhance the participation of youth in Politics and Governance?

Start Date :

Suggest ways to enhance youth participation in politics and governance.
Last date for sending your suggestions is 31st December, 2014.
Economics and pricing for every activity will help youth be more empathetic to producers of goods and services and help understand the needs to implement people friendly policies which lead to optimization patterns that lead to better distribution and not create congestion and pocket based development. The aim should be towards a better standard in a cost effective manner leading to more consumers and better revenues on a day to day basis.
yes youth should be participate in politics but honourable MLA OR MP SON SHOULD NOT COME IN POLITICS
by creating an awareness among the youth regarding the benefits we get from the good governance....
Ask all councillors, MLAs, MPs, and other legislators to hold constant talks and mingle with people and encourage interaction and take the opinions. Make constituency level portals. Use existing frameworks to extend to build more effective frameworks. Every individual should be directly or indirectly become part of some framework that is aligned with a common goal to profit oriented economic activities encouraging individuals to contribute to better policy making.
NONE OF THE BJP MINISTERS PROVOKE THE HINDU - MUSLIM / CHRISTIAN DEBATE ON ANY PLATFORM
BJP SHOULD ALWAYS TALK AND ACT OF WELFARE OF ALL RELIGIONS
PLEASE SEE THAT NONE OF THE NON HINDU VOTE IS LOST
IT GIVES THE OPPOSITION A CHANCE TO PROPAGATE RUMORS ABOUT BJPS ANTI MUSLIM OR ANTI CHRISTAIN DRIVE
GIVE A BROAD CHANCE OF NGO SECRETARIES AS CITIZEN REPRESENTATIVES IN GOVERNANCE & GOVERNMENT
RECRUIT WILLING TEACHERS ON DEPUTATION BASIS TO REPRESENT GOVERNMENT IN ADMINISTRATION
Youth can be motivated to participate in Politics by believing in their strength and giving them an opportunity to serve the nation.
Politics is perceived as very uncertain career. Ordinary youth shy away from choosing politics as a career. It is time it is offered as a career option like civil services. It may look very unconventional. A beginning should be made at Panchayat level.
As regards participation in governance, as of now it is fairly good. Youth should be made part of deliberations in meetings held by state officials.
Tax Museums should be set up in all big towns/cities to make youth aware of tax compliance
I would like to highlight the following shortcomings or pitfalls of management education in india :
1 The fees demanded by the reputed institutes is too high(15-20 lakhs). One cannot pursue mba without taking a loan with no surety of returns.
2 Various colleges require us to fill their forms even before we give up exam. For eg if you give xat u have to fill forms of xlri, iimt etc that cost 1750.
Sholdnt results be annonced first & then fill up the colleges acc to his percentile???
Politics also must be treated as a private organisation where every action will be transparent and very less chance for corruption. The young people of our country needs support from Govt. in terms of modernizing the way of serving the society. We should also make use of technology that can help us reach to gross roots of problems that our country is facing now. To involve youth in active politics, I think most of the responsibility depends on the political parties.
