We have to build an environment of trust among parents by reaching out to them through direct conversation with MPs.Every MP should hold discussion with parents once in a week by selecting a school in his/her constituency and try to know about the thoughts and ideas and what they think about politics and governance and what should they do to encourage their children joining politics and participate in defining new concepts of governance.

Concept of politics should be synchronized with initiatives taken towards delivering good governance and youth should be engaged by NGOs,groups of civil society and other government agencies in a way to encourage them to come in politics.Steps taken by government should always be the topic of discussion for youth gossip.

In a democratic setup everyone is directly or indirectly participating in politics .Everyone needn't to be part of direct political participation if an individual is aware of his fundamental duties and fundamental rights through strong moral and academic education is truely can be called politically active and can play a decisive role in a vibrant democracy like Bharat

Electronic media in the country should focus more on issues of national and international importance rather than having political debate on their channels.

Youth Parliaments must exist in every municipality and panchayat with schools and colleges democratically electing their representatives. Over time, these parliaments must be evolved to involve the youth participants in local self governments, with the ability to vote in specific decisions, within the parameters of democracy.

Political and governance speakers lack limelight and fame. Students speak on these topics in schools and colleges but it is hardly appreciated beyond the teachers and judges. An All India Competition with huge sum of money as prize should be organised. This competition should be given maximum publicity and importance. It must become a national event. It can act as a recruiting ground for political parties. Competition should be multi-level and should test participants knowledge, oratory, etc.

I think we lack discussion forums in schools, colleges and communities. A humble beginning could be organising an All India Politics and Governance Seminar. In this event there should be 3 categories of participants, viz. school, college and open. Each speaker should be allowed to speak for only 2 to 5 mins. Participants should be sorted according to topics they choose to speak on. At the first stage, school teachers should judge the participants for identified parameters and so on.

In the history of post 1947 india, a revolutionary legislation, right to information act 2005 was passed for participation. After 9 years, all public information officers of central/state governments, are using their talent to deny information about governance, by mis-utilising exemptions in the act. the saddest part of this story is retired bureaucrats, after functioning in most arrogant, opague manner, are made information commissioners after retirement. this is conflict of past with present
