The Indian Nanoelectronics Users Program (INUP), hosted at IIT Bombay and IISc Bangalore, with financial support from the Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY), strives to address many of these challenges. Through INUP, Ph.D. students and faculty innovators from any university or institution in India recognized by MHRD can access these nanofabrication facilities which house more than 150 sophisticated instruments for fabrication and characterization of nanoelectronic devices. The students also receive mentorship from experts – both faculty and other senior students – about their research projects and prototype development. INUP also conducts workshops to provide information and “hands-on” sessions to explain use of equipment.

If you are a Ph.D. student anywhere in India who wishes to try out an innovative idea in the area of nanoelectronics, you can send a proposal to INUP (http://www.inup.iitb.ac.in and http://www.nano.iisc.ernet.in/inup/). INUP provides the funding, help, mentorship and facilities, but the IP of your idea belongs to you.

Sir, Oil is our major import burden. There should be a group on Energy Efficient family & public Transportation Systems incorporating how government should create infrastructure to facilitate alternative/green transport like creating electric charging stations where you can pay with ATM/Credit cards, making pay-and-charge electric charging ports mandatory in multi-storeyed parking in cities etc. Example topics: Hybrid buses only under JNNURM ? Aluminium frames ONLY for SUVs like Ford F150 trucks

Respected Modiji, I am appalled by the news of racist attacks on students from North East. India is a country of tolerance and brotherhood. People irrespective of their caste, creeed, religion, colour, race and region are all same and should be treated the same. We surely need a bill which will prevent people from using physical violence to abuse others. Such acts will threaten the unity of our country. We request you to kindly take stern actions against people using physical violence.

There should be a Stringent Civil Code separately for our Minsters, MPs and MLAs. Everything about them must be transparent. They must allow anyone wishing to enter their house and search their belongings. They must publish the details of persons whom they met, places they visited, things purchased and the actions done by them and their fiancees in a separate web site on daily basis. Only those persons who are willing to abide by the Civil Code should be permitted to contest in elections.

Ideally, apart from the Prime Minister, GOI should have only five or six other Ministers (1) Minister for Internal affairs (2) Minister for external affairs (3) Minister for Defense (4) Minister for Finance and (5) Minister for Law and Social Justice. The rest of the affairs should be given to the State Governments, Local Self Governments and to the Private Sector.

Why can't general public take Police Help whenever needed without any fear ? Why do they want to avoid to log any complaint in Police Station ? Why do they choose it at last option ? 99.99% (except politician/high class business men/Bureaucrat) people of India fear go to Police Station to log the complaint and take their help. Why ? Why don't you create a survey and take general public feedback ? For poor people & who can't provide online feedback, involve some agency. Will get clear pic !
