Our 50% of funds should be dedicated to known problems. The projects/ideas should be invited from research institutes. The selected three ideas for each problem should be funded. Funding may be for single or group institutes. Ones project completed entrepreneurs/students should be given opportunity commercialise the technology. This shall give us opportunity to develop technology in applied area to meet current needs of India. Remaining 50% fund may be used for fundamental research & development
India must build electronics manufacturing research at nano technology facility for semiconductor research, VLSI (Very large scale integration) using nano technology, One Chip all Solutions, Micro and Nano robotics for critical maintance of nuclear reactors, satellites, nano computers for soldiers, astrophysics and aeronautical research, defence nano electronics and armament, carbon nano technology and nano tubes research, nano fibres research, nano materials, electron microscopes, nano alloys.
Considering that the ordinary citizen cannot even walk into these places for a guided tour - this is a rich discussion. Ahem. Or did you have something else in mind ?
CENTRAL GOVT. AND STATE HEALTH MINISTRIES SHOULD BE MORE ACTIVE AND PROACTIVE RELATED TO SWINE FLU KITS AND TAMMY FLU TABLETS AND VACCINES.
