The Indian Nanoelectronics Users Program (INUP), hosted at IIT Bombay and IISc Bangalore, with financial support from the Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY), strives to address many of these challenges. Through INUP, Ph.D. students and faculty innovators from any university or institution in India recognized by MHRD can access these nanofabrication facilities which house more than 150 sophisticated instruments for fabrication and characterization of nanoelectronic devices. The students also receive mentorship from experts – both faculty and other senior students – about their research projects and prototype development. INUP also conducts workshops to provide information and “hands-on” sessions to explain use of equipment.

If you are a Ph.D. student anywhere in India who wishes to try out an innovative idea in the area of nanoelectronics, you can send a proposal to INUP (http://www.inup.iitb.ac.in and http://www.nano.iisc.ernet.in/inup/). INUP provides the funding, help, mentorship and facilities, but the IP of your idea belongs to you.

more into monetary matters and calculations.....30 people died...given 100000 per person...a total of 30 lakhs of tax payers money spent but the cause of accident not looked into.
a suggested better solution...appoint another person on railway station ...salary 10 - 15 thousand per month....1.2 lakhs in a year....30 lakhs in 25 years......so this money could have been utilized for employment of a person for 25 years and less chances of such incidents to happen in future........MODI SIR ???.....

to all for discussion.....giving monetary help to the one who died and got injured in train accident...in my view is the move taken to keep faults in our system behind curtains. should money be given to near ones of the died...does giving money can solve all the problems. and what about wounded? they should be treated for free or expenses to be beared by govt. rather of giving money in hand. it is wastage of tax payers money. most of us know that people who are not injured also tend to get money

Sir,District Administration is the executing authority for all central and state govt projects. But this is headed by an officer who is barely 3 to 4 yrs in IAS. More so a domicile of one state joins the cadre of another state and is totally unaware of local problems and aspirations. The DC/DM of a district should be a person with minimum 15 yrs of service in IAS with prior experience of service in the same area in junior appointments. Decongest bureaucrats from Delhi and state capitals.

Indian Railways - Indian rail wagons (cars) must change the method of human waste disposal in trains. It is so unhygienic and uncultured to throw human waste on tracks and in open area. It should be treated as criminal act. Can you imagine to have the airplanes to use similar systems?
