The Indian Nanoelectronics Users Program (INUP), hosted at IIT Bombay and IISc Bangalore, with financial support from the Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY), strives to address many of these challenges. Through INUP, Ph.D. students and faculty innovators from any university or institution in India recognized by MHRD can access these nanofabrication facilities which house more than 150 sophisticated instruments for fabrication and characterization of nanoelectronic devices. The students also receive mentorship from experts – both faculty and other senior students – about their research projects and prototype development. INUP also conducts workshops to provide information and “hands-on” sessions to explain use of equipment.

If you are a Ph.D. student anywhere in India who wishes to try out an innovative idea in the area of nanoelectronics, you can send a proposal to INUP (http://www.inup.iitb.ac.in and http://www.nano.iisc.ernet.in/inup/). INUP provides the funding, help, mentorship and facilities, but the IP of your idea belongs to you.

The forum seems to flood with comments with no body seems to read. At this rate the whole exercise would become meaningless. The Government should engage a team to review the comments from time to time, delete the unwanted stuff and carry forward with meaningful ones.

During recent election & after election no one discuses, talked & debate about rapid growth of population .
To make India No 1 in all over the world we should control our population on war footing .
Basic education should given to every citizen.

Improvement in education & population will solve / reduce almost 50% of our country problems

The need for keeping some parts of India as Union Territory should be reconsidered.Such a classification would have been necessary at the time of their formation. Whether the present relevance and necessity for the same were considered is not known. In the case of Puducherry, an UT, a part is in Kerala (Mahi) and other part (Puducherry) is in Tamil Nadu. Why not merge Mahe with Kerala and Puducherry with Tamilnadu.Lot of administrative cost can be saved, which can be used for cleaning them.

The Government does certain action with a purpose. But on many occasions, the action would continue even after the purpose is fulfilled. Lot of resources are wasted in such actions. If a proper analysis is done, we will find that several of our Government departments and organizations are in this category. Why not start a discussion on this in this forum?

Several of our laws have either become redundant or need considerable amendment. There is also a need for fresh laws. The punishments for certain offences should be modified. There is also a need for revising the fees and fines prescribed by law. A separate forum should be started in MyGov.nic to invite proposals from all concerned for continuous changes in the present legal system.
