The Indian Nanoelectronics Users Program (INUP), hosted at IIT Bombay and IISc Bangalore, with financial support from the Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY), strives to address many of these challenges. Through INUP, Ph.D. students and faculty innovators from any university or institution in India recognized by MHRD can access these nanofabrication facilities which house more than 150 sophisticated instruments for fabrication and characterization of nanoelectronic devices. The students also receive mentorship from experts – both faculty and other senior students – about their research projects and prototype development. INUP also conducts workshops to provide information and “hands-on” sessions to explain use of equipment.

If you are a Ph.D. student anywhere in India who wishes to try out an innovative idea in the area of nanoelectronics, you can send a proposal to INUP (http://www.inup.iitb.ac.in and http://www.nano.iisc.ernet.in/inup/). INUP provides the funding, help, mentorship and facilities, but the IP of your idea belongs to you.

Dear Sir,
It is an honour to be a part of such an initiative.
Some suggestions which I hope could be fruitful :
1.Waste Management - Sir, in Spain almost 5% of its electricity needs are met by electricity generated by waste. Y not bring such an setup on large scale basis in our country.
2. Cleanliness - In each city every month there should be a cleanliness half day where everyone would take part.
And most importantly.. Please take some VERY strict actions for use of Plastic bags.

Thanks for initiating SWACHH BHARAT abhiyan. But the success of this is closely linked with the provision of waste collection and waste disposal mechanism. Say for example, merely putting banner to keep 'market place' clean is not enough for sustained results. There should be provision for Dustbins say every 10-20 meters on either side of the road and especially around the eatries.Clean well maintained SULABH SAUCHALAYA should be present by the side of every road (both small roads and highways).

Any initiatives for India must start from citizens. Stringent law may punish but can't make a movement. Let us take a latest incidence of Banglore molestation to girls. people watch but donot react. Let us start a culture of instant appreciation for any good work done by any citizen. let us put it in media and make them hero. Let PM find one day in a month to identify and appreciate the real time brave hearts and make an event on all TV channels. This will encourage others to help others.

Swatch Bharat is a great initiative and using social network is a great idea. I however think an incentive based movement would provide a longer lasting movement. Giving rating to cities in terms of cleanliness and linking to funding allocation to high achieving regions/cities/localities might provide long lasting motivation to public.

Dear Sir, Make India Green, I believe that rather to go on fast to reduce obesity... do more exercise.... This concept is also applicable to protect our environment. I want to suggest you that Green India Mission must be launched and for this i would suggest that every highway must be planted with two lanes of tree that grow fastly like Burman Dake in Punjab. After some span one lane should be cut to full fil our timber needs and must plant more tree at once. It will reduce our timber imports to
