For promotion of Handlooms and Handicraft; a day should be dedicated for Celebrating 'Handlooms' All Indians should be encouraged to buy Handloom products/wear Handloom clothes on this day. Slowly it will become a tradition. Yes promotion would be required by the govt

The plight of handlooms weavers are well known. For promotion of Indian hand-looms the modernization of hand-loom is utmost requirement and it would be better to provide Power-loom by forming Self Help Groups with subsidy on Electricity.

Because of same berth charges, short distance commuters usually do not prefer journey in the reservation compartments during day time, even though berths are available, thereby many available berths are vacant in the day time causing loss to the Indian Railways.
Therefore, you are requested to arrange to relook into the existing rule position so as to consider lesser berth chargers for the commuters for the short journey in the day time (9pm) in view of the forthcoming Railway Budget Sessions.
