How can we stop the ‘brain drain’ wherein we are losing some of the brightest minds to other nations due to lack of suitable opportunities here? At the same time how do ...
Like the Malaysian companies sponsor students education abroad and then have a contract with the student to repay the loan by working for a period of 6 years in Malaysia itself. This should be done in India as well, where students have sponsored education abroad by government or companies and then have to work in India itself for specific bonded period, till we grow to the global education standards.
THERE IS A STRICT WAY AND THERE IS A PEACEFUL WAY.I PREFER PEACEFUL WAYS.IN INDIA EVERYBODY HAS RIGHTS.WE CAN CALL BACK THOSE WHO LEFT INDIA BY FOLLOWING WAYS.
1.TELL THEM THERE IMPORTANCE.
2.GIVE THEM PLATFORMS WHERE THEY CAN SHARE THEIR KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE.
3.ALLOW THEIR PRESENCE IN POLICY MAKING AND IN NITI AYOG
4.ASK THEM TO INVEST IN INDIA.GOVERNMENT CAN GIVE REBATE IN TAXES
5.INDIA IS STILL FACING PROBLEMS IN MANY SECTORS,WE SHOULD COMMUNICATE WITH OTHER TOP CLASS COUNTRIES.
That person leaves India who don't love it,money/salary issue is showing the selfishness of that person,he had no brain because if he had then he can earn more money in India with starting a business and also can provide jobs to others, but he want a simple life with a big package, total selfishness in ma way.
From schools we can find a great mind,we must observe that boy/girl,we should provide him/her opportunity or the way to increase their quality with their interest, because something is spiritual, naturality can change the things, gov.should provide them a fulfil atmosphere to practical and to invente, money matteres but happiness can replace money/salary issue.teachers and trainers should be very smart to teach, to clear curiosity and to find talent.
(Continued from previous post. Not sure why the entire text is not shown.)
3) To reverse the 'brain drain', encourage experienced people to set up the Startups in our country.
May be many NRIs will be interested to come back. And also people in our country will be happy to own a company.
Below points may help:
1) Right from the PU college, create interest in the minds of the student by providing more resources/opportunities to work in the field of their interest.
There are several ways like engaging them with the projects/companies. Or encouraging for more DIY (Do-It-Yourself) projects.
2) Covertly and in the systematic way students must be made to be proud of our country right from the school.
One of the way is, there has to be regular way to introduce our scientists
Steps to Preventing Brain Drain in Any Organization:
1. You Need a Culture That Supports Knowledge Transfer
2. Develop a culture of support.
3. Create a checklist.
4. Give learners time to transition.
5. Test the process.
Ultimately, preventing brain drain and keeping your company’s collective knowledge intact rests on your culture and the value you place on people engaging in these types of behaviors.
I think the biggest contributor to brain drain is our non-existent education system in fields other than engineering, and low quality of R&D in our engineering universities. i believe time has come that should discuss about FDI in Higher education and let foreign universities open their campuses in India.
By providing better infrastructure and good pay scale we can stop brain drain.
By realising the youth that their nation has so much to give them and instead of developing the countries which are already developed the youth should concentrate on development of their country.
Jai hind..
What we notice in our country that film stars and crickters are given more publicity and importance than scientists or proffessors or any other person who is really devoted their life for the betterment of country and its people. Such people are not real heroes in our society, in media and also neglected by government. This mind set must be changed and such people must feel that they are getting their due from society and government. ask10th stad. student to name five scientists he cant.
