A huge amount of Govt. money is spent on subsidy of petroleum products. The Govt. had to spend Rs. 1,39,869 crore on account of subsidy on petroleum products in the year 2013-14. ...
WITHDRAW SUBSIDY AND TAXES ON LPG..MARKET VALUE MAY BE MUCH LESS ....GOVT MAY LOOSE TAXES BUT SAVES SUBSIDY PORTION ..
supply subsidised gas in21days interval stricktly and supply nonsubsidised gas immediatly like ATM card issue smartcard with consumer NO and the cylinder must be attached with a device which should carry consumer NO SO that when the smartcard is inserted the cylinder will open and card mustbe insitu continuasly
Allow private petroleum companies including refineries, who provide better service, to market LPG at market prices, . Well to households or persons voluntarily giving up subsidy can switch to better option. Well to do households did not use PDS system as qualty food grains werer available in open market. Give option to consumer to voluntray forgo his entitlement or accept reduction in his entitlement through SNS and update computer records. Control to be excercised by Petroleum companies.
Issue LPG Gas stoves (for a cost) to be used with LPG cylinders. These Stoves should have a hard locking mechanism that can be fixed to the Gas cylinder ONLY by the LPG delivery person. Any evidence of tampering ( for use with Automobiles or resale) must immediately terminate the LPG subscription and they can't apply for new cylinders for 1 full year.
1.Kerosene Oil is mostly used for adulteration in Petrol and Diesel by the Petroleum Dealers. It is rarely available to the poor and needy persons on Ration Depots. No duel policy. It should be freed from control and sold in open market.
2. Similarly the dual pricing should end in LPG also. During Vajpayee Regime it was freely available in open market and with LPG Dealers. That System should be studied and implemented.
RSD BANSAL
Abolish Subsidy... Similar to Water supply... Supply Gas / Kerosene thru Pipe. If we encourage / Distribute free Solar or Biogas stoves..we can eliminate Kerosene Usage
1.Increase the use of SOLAR POWER FOR food preparation, boiling water etc.
2.Pls make an indigenous INDAIN CYCLE- more easy and light weight than classical- for lessen petrol subsidy. For it R&D should support by GOVT & Pvt and subsidy may given.
3.More IT enabled services should be started to avoid physical movements & travelling for Govt & Pvt needs.
4.Petroleum products subsidy only given to needy. Why should it give in subsidy rate for a CROREPATI???
Pl. allow 12 subsidise LPG on only monthly basis & direct transfer the amount to consumer bank a/c .
sale of kerosene at market price like lpg gas cylinder & preferably the rate must be above petrol/diesel prices to avoid adulteration. the poor consumer will purchase at market rate & subsidy will be paid to them through DBT
1. Make the common rate of LPG and Kerosine and give subsidy in A/C only to real eligible.
2. Reduce the price that came from cutting the subsidy cost.
3. Limit the booking quota and increase the frequency and make
system auditable, computerised and report may be send daily to
PDS monitering cell.
