A huge amount of Govt. money is spent on subsidy of petroleum products. The Govt. had to spend Rs. 1,39,869 crore on account of subsidy on petroleum products in the year 2013-14. ...
due to heavy differece in pricing , LPG & kerosene are diverted. let us keep the prices one & give subsidy in rupees to the a/c of female of the needy .color difference in cylinders should be maintained to check consumption in the industry & domestic users have been fixed with a cap so no problem.
I hv excellent solution for substitution of LPG & kerocene for cooking. Enough fire wood can be produced on the wastelands and unemployed rural people, converted into wood pellets, used in clean burning stoves. It will save billions worth crude imports and subsidy. Pl see my detailed paper in Int J for sustainable innovations, vol 3, No1, 2013, pg 29-35. It will solve many acute problems of GHGs, huge employment at least cost, etc. no import of equip or technology needed. kashok_gupta@yahoo.com
Making on line booking with user names and passwords will take care of on demand side of cylinders and help in avoiding illegal booking by dealers so as to sell them in black for higher rates and transferring amount directly to bank account will take care of on supply side, as with every illegal transfer he is benefiting customers.
Sir wanted to understand why we cannot act sternly with Swiss Gov for non cooperation with us on black money issue. The only way Swiss will listen to us if we can impose some cost on them which shd be more than the benefit they are accruing from the ill gotten wealth stashed in to their banks. Can we not put a penal tax of say 10% on all Swiss companies in India . The top 10 Swiss companies shd have a TO of not less than 30,000 CR, which can give us 3000 cr/A. We have to think out of the box.
track the movements of fuel containers through remote control like animals are tracked in jungle. The vehicles that carry the fuel should follow predestined road and make stops at under monitored points only. Timely feed back from the identifiable source of the receiver of the fuel also must be tracked 24*7 for 365 days. The devices must thoughly pretested and legally compatible so that culprit/s so tracked are punished without delay.
stop subsidy on all - in cash. give to actual users in their bank account - you will see a huge saving
Modi ji ishka sirf ekmatra solution hai wo ye ki Desh ke Har Gaon aur colony main Pasupalan hota hai lekin jo samajne ki baat hai unka Gobbar jo Gobbar gas ke liye use hona chahiye wo bekar jata hai, Small small Gobbar Gas plant laga kar hum ishka sadpryug kar sakte hain aur bachne par Khet main khad bana kar use kar sakte hain aur Solar Cocker ko badava de sakte hain -- lekin ye sab jab tak nahi hoga jab tak sarkar JUNUN ke sath ishmain na lage aur ishke liye kuch JUNUNI log bhi hone chahiye
The LPG connections can be linked with Power connections. this will help ensure one family has only connection. Power consumption can be a criteria to whom to provide subsidy. Then link LPG connections with Aadhar and do the Direct benefit transfer
As we are just 2 persons and consumption is less than 5 cilenders per annum previously my dealer him self used to use our account every 15 to 20 days for booking which we tracked when we are unable to register for new cylender. But after direct transfer came in it stopped, as for every cylender he delivers illegely I will get cash. So please use direct cash transfer of subsidy directly to customers so that dealer will have no incentive left to divert cylenders. If possible make it online.
