A huge amount of Govt. money is spent on subsidy of petroleum products. The Govt. had to spend Rs. 1,39,869 crore on account of subsidy on petroleum products in the year 2013-14. ...
With pahal starting and PM requesting to give up subsidiary for LGP.the Govt could offer tax rebate for those who give up their subsidiary.eg if some one pay full amount then on the extra he pays, he doesn't have to pay taxes. If some rich falls in catagory of 30% tax bracket, then he won't be paying taxes. This will benfit not just this scheme but also revenue of Govt. If someone pay 500 rs extra for a gas cylinder then govt get that full 500 rs instead of just 30%, plus saving on subsidiary.
Sir I was listening your yesterday's speech in Bangalore on subsidiary of Gas Cylinders and you urged people in high society / Civil servants officials to leave from gas subsidiary. Sir, in Bangalore Karnataka Govt increased benifits for MLA up to 100%. Why can you urged at least BJP MLA/ MLC/MP/corporator who had declared asset before EC those who decreased
Everyday We Hearing Appeal From Govt to Forgo LPG Subsidy . We Indian or Our Govt Habit to Show Our Weakness First Just Like All BPL House Always have a Board of BPL Family Why we Show This Negative Thing . WWhy Not We Start Subsidy Free House Board Consider Only LPG/KEROSENE (Board With Ashok Chakra) I am 1000% Confidence Govt Can Save Rs.2000 cr Easily . We an Make this a mass movement i am appeal to gove plz start this and you see result in next six motnh.
IT IS GOOD IDEA TO GIVE UP LPG SUBSIDY IN NATIONAL INTEREST.WE MUST BE READY FOR THAT,BUT ONE REQUEST FROM GOVERNMENT WHETHER GOVERNMENT WILL GUARANTEE FOR EACH OPTOUT CONSUMER WILL GIVE HOME DEVILRY WITH IN 24-36 HRS ON PRIRITY BASIS.SUPPOSE I AM WORKING IN PSU AND LEFT LPG SUBSIDY IN NATIONAL INTREST WHEARTHER MY PARENTS STAYING AT HOME WILL GET GURANTEE LPG CYLINDEDER WITH ACTUAL WEIGHT ON 24 HRS.IF THIS TYPE SYSTEM IS DEVELOPED .PEOPLE WILL HAPPILY READY TO LEAVE LPG SUBSIDY.

UNIFORM PRICING FOR BOTH COMMERCIAL AND DOMESTIC IS THE SOLUTION. SUBSIDIES/ DUAL PRICING does not help society, instead develops corruption.
Contd.:Rs181/=subsidy increases cost of the commercial cyl. many fold as these are comparatively less in use.But these high cost commercial cylinders BOUNCE back on to the society with all round increase in cost of almost every thing remotely are directly linked with gas consumption in the same proportionate as it attached to the commercial cyl.Further, It invites mafia business, which originate from ???and than spreads its wings through channel of corruption and citizens get Rs181/=PM in return.
I believe, Our constitution is clear on equality in all aspect of life no matter it is consumables, opportunities or other means and parameters of life and society and as such dual pricing is a politically cooked ill conceived thought not admissible under the constitution. How a family get benefited from the subsidy consuming one cyl. per month[Sub.Rs181],if he consumes 10 cyl[as a manufacturer],pays high cost for eateries [entire society including salaried people towards high bills] and so on
HONOURABLE PM SAHEB, everywhere u r talking about voluntary switch over to market rate of GAS cylinders. As d English proverb goes"charity begin at home", why don't u implement compulsorily for all the MPs and MLAs of our great India. All the Class one(Group A services with a present grade pay of 6600 onwards when they r in service they have to compulsorily purchase Gas cylinders at Market price and to those who pay IT @30% PA. Please implement.
Mass production of solar panels should be done as this would automatically reduce the cost of production. In small towns and villages, every house top should be utilised for solar panels to provide electricity in that particular house, more use of electrical equipments for cooking should be encouraged and local deluxe busses in even small towns should be started with service in every 15 minutes. This would save fuel in two Wheeler and four-wheeler and even reduce traffic.
Some type of bio fuels should be encouraged, mass production of such plants should be driven by putting up all available departments and other resources and this would automatically reduce the cost of production of such plants. Even in areas of rajasthan, where underground water is not good for normal crops, crops like jojoba could be grown which can be utilised in biofuel. Minimum base price and various inputs and knowledge and most important the sales tieups should be provided to the farmers.
