Water is a vital resource for life, and for the economy. Nowadays, one of the most serious challenges to solve and manage the water scarcity. With the depletion of water resources, ...
Prime Minister Ji,
I am Engineer at PHED in Rajasthan. My Job is providing water to people. I researched on harvesting systems, water quality, Ground water improvement, Water distribution System. I am attaching a small part of research. Previously I send this pdf to forest department, Ground department, Environment Dept. and PHED also. but nobody respond it.
The need of the hour is to store just a fraction of the huge amount of water which is just flowing in to the sea . The government needs to come up with huge projects to build lakes along the river where possible and also huge water reservoirs. Rivers also need to be deepened as that will slow the river flow and increase the water quantity as well as quality in the river
Pass a law to make RAIN WATER HARVESTING mandatory for all housing societies.
Nature is the best teacher. If we grow and encourage people to grow forests, we will definitely add to water in the country. Make planting 10 trees on the birthday of every child a public n pvt initiative and the govt. maintains the trees in return. You can outsource this to organizations that plant forests as well.
This will force people to do something good on their children's bdays.
Rain water harvesting made compulsary for all societies, bunglows companies. Govt to encourage by giving subsidy same like shouchalay. Even if dats used for toilet, gardening & vehicles; so much need is cut down.
1. People follow the leaders Sportsmen, Actor ,writer or religious so we water saving appeal from their side and first they show that they are saving the water for earth and our future generation.
2. We should approve the MAP for competent authority residential , commercial, Industrial establishment and Govt. structure must have water recharging plant. Award and penalty must be on every building.
3. Ground water fetching is allowed on condition of water recharge plant or pay the penalty.
DEAR SIR,
RAIN WATER SHOULD BE FULLY STORED BY SOME MEANS OR OTHER.
SMALL DAMS MAY BE BUILT IN RIVERS AT SMALL DISTANCES .WATER TRANSPORTATION OF PEOPLE AND GOODS THROUGH SUCH RIVERS MAY BE ENCOURAGED .
Respected Sir , I also want to suggest that ,why we can put up cannels near to big dams ,I had expired 2006 Heavy Floods of Tapi River ,where more than 10-12 Lakh Cusecs water gone in Arabic Sea ,can't we make out cannels to such big Dams ,where we can have automatic doors will get open after river reaching certain risk hights ,and such excess water can be store some where else in big wells or can be supplied to near village lakes, so such saving flood water will help us to serve better .
1. There should be different pipeline for water from washroom, bathroom etc. which contains hazardous chemicals for soil.
2. water from kitchen, rooftop, lawn , which can be reused for other purpose should be used separately.
3.water harvesting and water recharging must be compulsory for commercial, govt. and community building. Houses with area more than a 2000 Sq. ft. are also under this compulsion.
4.there should be promotion of plantation.
5.illegal borewell should be banned.
Respected Sir , I want to suggest one important point that why there should not be one point program me to all Big and Small Cities Municipal Corporation for making compulsory Rain Water Harvesting to all big societies ,so that this will save lots of pure drinking water for all needy population of cities and no more water arrangement expenses required for cities and such remaining excess water can be supplied to near by villages for drinking and agricultural use .
