Nearly 94% of students enrolled are in the state educational institutions. Improving the quality of State Universities is extremely significant. What kind of reforms agenda need to ...
we needed to give practical knowledge to students.
i tell u one thing that the teachers on maximum universities are are not well experts.
we needed to creates experts; who teaches and guide well.
the universities are opened in every state ; but the only purpose of them are to make money; no matter but it could be resulted out.
please create make the minimum best quality program for universities. so, that student can be educated well. please make comment and suggest ideas!
A very good idea, this way we need not to raise new infrastructure, and can turn the tables simply by extending all possible support to institutions already in place, no matter state institutions. Even, there was no need to raise new central universities, it would have been better to identify state universities ready to be converted to central university. this way a lot can be done in shortest possible time without wasting much resources objectives can be fulfilled. Future is full of scope
Today guys in 4 year engineering course, are studying the syllabus which is 15 to 20 years old, what that engineer will do once he come out. A mech engineer is too shy to do blue color jobs and does not have skill to become a bridge designer, a city designer or an inventor. 4 years he/she studies subjects that are nowhere used in real time jobs. he is dependant on his/her parents even after 22 years of age. He cant get job as he not skilled. this is a depressing them a lot.
through private public partnership resources can be utilised wisely and culture of the universities can be improved
people working in state universities are very much rude and even they don't do their work properly ,stack of files on their tables, reluctant to work, even there are instances with me where i appealed on rechecking my papers ,for which they charged me 1200 but in return all my efforts in vain.i am a student of gauhati university and these things are like common therefore my suggestion is there should be a monthly check on such kind of universities so that they don't play with our future.
Vedanta should be introduced as a short but compulsory course from pre-University to post graduate level to counter the evil effects of soap operas, digital craziness, crimes etc and thereby create good patriotic citizens. There are many Vedantic scholars who could be entrusted in framing the syllabi. Vedanta is the "all-inclusive way of life" in this land that is already consistent with the so called secular fabric. Secular values are best expressed in Vedanta.
The only way to improve performance of state universities is by introducing strict requirement of quality publications in impact factor (>1) journals (maintained by impartial international professional bodies) from ALL disciplines including HUMANITIES. That would attract world attention to our researches and also improve the level of teaching. We should emulate MIT, Princeton, Cambridge etc in matters of research & teaching and not waste tax payers' money on low or zero quality research.
In my view the people who are working in the state universities should be made accountable and responsible for their work which can prevent fraudulent and corruption,Firstly.Secondly,Privatization and corporate style of working to be implemented in their work culture and linking their work performance to their increments & promotions.Thirdly,to say good bye to the people not performing in place of setting enquiry committees for them.Every work activity to be time bound & use of IT in all fields.
I have some suggestions in this regard which I have noted here:

I hope you will find it worthwhile to at least consider the idea.
we know that corporal punishment is ban in 2007 in school.but this was not follow by college. many state level private college use corporal punishment on student in college.but this type of cause not come in media use to money power of college.very rare cause come in media and this this type of cause come in local news paper not in very famous newspaper.so mainly private engineering college use corporal punishment in all our country.so please stop torture on college student in india
