LPG is one of the ‘clean’ cooking fuel with present consumer base of 17cr in the country and present coverage is 60% of the households. Government of India is committed to increase LPG coverage in the country to 75% of the household. Present, LPG distributor network has more than 17000 distributors spread having presence in both Rural and Urban areas of the Country. Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India is of the view that there is a need to increase of LPG coverage in the rural areas considering the benefits of LPG in terms of health and environment. Ministry recognizes that availability, accessibility and affordability of LPG are the key factors to increase the LPG coverage in rural areas. This can be done with bringing in new distributorships aligning with challenges encountered with respect of making them available to the last mile.

Therefore, Ministry solicits suggestions/inputs from citizens on the new model of distributorship particularly for the areas such as Hilly/Desert/Densely forested/other difficult locations. Also, to suggest names of locations which require establishing new distributorship.

thanks.........bohot achchi service ho rah hai.. Aj Kao to gao Gao me gas ka connection mil rah hai..par sir dealer log Jo 6000se 70000 connection k lia mang rah rah is lia garib logo ko connection nei mil rah hai .....iplease sir solve this some

LPG subsidy issue for consumer no. 38596227.On 12/11/15 I have been trfd my LPG connection from Noida (UP) to Delhi(Ashoka store,dealer code:113559)and I had submitted transfer letter along with copy of my Aadhaar Card and Rs.1500/-as a security amount.On 13/11/15 Ashoka Stores issued me SV Form for my new address and on 13/11/15 I had booked for two LPG cylinders and got the two cylinders vide cash memo no.70515 on 17/11/15 but I have not yet receive the LPG subsidy for these two cylinders.

In Government website there is no friendly services available to the citizen. For example government announced that now this work can done online but when any citizen go to government site and try to apply online then they show a form to then citizen. Citizen first download forms but need to fill details in hard copy and then he go to the department and need to submit the hard copy of the form to respective department. Then what is the mean of 'service available online' and 'Digital India'?

Chance building bye-laws to provide piped gas-line in metros and large cities. Oil companies can afford this as the oil prices are now low. More cylinders will be available for rural needs and also provide some more employment.
