Although Indian Railways enjoy the highest captive eyeballs in a railway system internationally, it earns less than 5% of its revenues through non-tariff sources. Many of the world ...
Stop parcel booking through DALALS
I m a pharma mfgr in mumbai, send goods all over India by transport. In railway, every one books by DALALS(not direct).
-DALAL charges 5times(2500 instead of 500)
-I lost 3 consignment(DALAL changed mob no.)
-DALAL changes mob no.,keeps switch off, rarely picks
-Not sending goods to the real destination. (X is d earlier station of Y, fromZ i book goods to X but they sent to Y & my party took goods to X by bus)
Our Railway can bring revenue to the Nation, because now the subsidy is utilized for rich who are not eligible. Please limit subsidy by linking Adhaar card to buy ticket/service of railway.other than eligible citizen, market competent fare has to be collected. But the service standard has to be kept to international level.Platforms,Railway Boundaries must be made as airport standard.and technology must be used without ticket E-GATE will not open to enter to platform.Safety, security, health standard!
#IndianRailways should charge passengers for latrine & urinal at the Railway Station which would help in cleanliness and maintenance of the toilets and also provide a source of #NonFareRevenue
On Premium Trains incl. Shatabdi, Rajdhani, Duronto, the #IndianRailways should provide Video Services for passengers wherein they can watch movies while travelling on payment of charges. #NonFareRevenue
#IndianRailways can charge passengers who are NOT Senior Citizens or Women, but want to book tickets for Lower Berth in Sleeper & 3AC Coaches.
#IndianRailways should open luxury lounge in select railways stations wherein they can charge fees for passengers who use the services based on the lines of Airport Lounge. #NonFareRevenue
#IndianRailways should issue loyalty schemes for frequent travelers and allot points for frequent journeys which can be accumulated and then redeemed for free journeys. The loyalty program can also be extended for Railway Lounge wherein certain grade of passengers can use the lounge for free.
