Although Indian Railways enjoy the highest captive eyeballs in a railway system internationally, it earns less than 5% of its revenues through non-tariff sources. Many of the world ...
1. Attract the passengers.
2. Provide us app to buy tickets at my home. Make it so popular. Give offers like ap purse ads.
3. Increase ticket rates and before that increase employment rate also.
Then see the result...! Thank you.
Due to pasholder unions their fare could not be increased, therefore, issue of season tickets be restricted upto 50 kms and it should be linked with Aadharcard to get multiple season tkts.
railway should have to play a important role in indian domestic tourism indian railway should run middle level trains i.e. moderate cost tourism trains, which can attract a mass amount of middle class families.
IR should strict the ticket supervision policy by put automatic doors in coaches which run on electronic ticket like metros.
I have seen many people smoking in the train and creating troubles for other passengers. When you know that you cannot stop their habits then why don't you just allow them in such a way that they also be happy and our people has no trouble. Why don't you just allow smoking on platform but stop smoking in coach and throw him on next stop when found guilty.
Please review the innovative idea for transformation of #IndianRailways #NonFareRevenue #Railways #MyGov
To control rush on platform, .Platform ticket should not be issued. Due to over crowded without ticket passengers are taking disadvantages.
We have biggest fault in our system. You cannot stop generating bad people. Our point is not to deal with bad system and change good things to become bad. People feel proud when they give bribe to our Ticket Conductor while traveling in train and giving half cost which totally goes in his pocket. My point is why do you even allow boarding such people in the train or indirectly creating a space for corruption. Why don't you check all tickets in advance?
Rent the Railway tracks for state governments for local transportation when they are absolutely free
Indian Railways can provide On the Go WIFI facility for the customers on need basis.
Language based TV channels or FM Channels can be introduced in Chair Cars
Can provide safe vaults in the coaches for valuable items
Can restrict the luggage size per passenger and additional luggage can be charged.
Can have LIVE coffee/tea counters in each coach than selling prepared coffee/tea
In long distance train a coach can be made as restaurant with Buffet System

1)convert pantry car from all trains to one sleeper coach. It is unsafe, unhygienic, and add 72 seats.
2)Remove union notice flex board from rail way platform walls.Use it for advert.
3)At the end of journey reduce AC temp on AC coaches when passenger density is less.
4)strictly avoid beggars, unauthorised ,without ticket, hackers entering platforms, trains
5)During off season long distance trains from Karwar to Ernakulam,TVm go empty,Some method to give reserved tickets to guanine passengers.
