The India Newborn Action Plan (INAP) was launched by Hon’ble Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Dr. Harsh Vardhan on 18th September, 2014 in New Delhi. It outlines a targeted strategy for accelerating the reduction of preventable newborn deaths and stillbirths in the country. INAP defines the latest evidence on effective interventions which will not only help in reducing the burden of stillbirths and neonatal mortality, but also maternal deaths. With clearly marked timelines for implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and scaling-up of proposed interventions, it is expected that all stakeholders working towards improving newborn health in India will stridently work towards attainment of the goals of “Single Digit NMR by 2030” and “Single Digit SBR by 2030.”The INAP will be implemented within the existing RMNCH+A framework, and guided by the principles of Integration, Equity, Gender, Quality of Care, Convergence, Accountability, and Partnerships. Its strength is built on its six pillars of intervention packages, impacting stillbirths and newborn health. For effective implementation, a systematic plan for monitoring and evaluation has been developed with a list of dashboard indicators.

Because this many children dont get proper treatment and developes complications which results in kidney failure or eye sight loss and many other deadly situations.
Dear sir i want u to kindly think on this issue. Please do some arrangement so that the poor parents can get glucometer, test strips and insuline at free of cost or atleast at subsidised rates through govt.
It would be a great service to the needy children who are suffering from this deadly and silent killrr diases called diabetes.

Diabetes is spreading in india like an epidemic in india. Though we believe it a life style diases it is not confined to the aged people. More and more children below 12 years are succumbing. Being a father of juvenile diabetic son i understand the plight of the parents. It is called type 1 diabetes which is incurable. The patient have to check glucose level several times a day and have to take insulin injection minimum 3 times a day. Poor parents cant afford it because it costs nearly 100 rupees

Reg. ur email of "Drug Menace". Solution is very simple. Please send addicts wanting to recover to the program of "Narcotics Anonymous", which is a fellowship of people who have managed to kick the habit and live peaceful lives. For more info. contact Narcotics Anonymous office or members present in most major cities and many towns. It is a FREE program to help each other recover and stay clean & sober. Banning Drugs or enforcing Prohibition will only worsen the situation without understanding.
