The India Newborn Action Plan (INAP) was launched by Hon’ble Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Dr. Harsh Vardhan on 18th September, 2014 in New Delhi. It outlines a targeted strategy for accelerating the reduction of preventable newborn deaths and stillbirths in the country. INAP defines the latest evidence on effective interventions which will not only help in reducing the burden of stillbirths and neonatal mortality, but also maternal deaths. With clearly marked timelines for implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and scaling-up of proposed interventions, it is expected that all stakeholders working towards improving newborn health in India will stridently work towards attainment of the goals of “Single Digit NMR by 2030” and “Single Digit SBR by 2030.”The INAP will be implemented within the existing RMNCH+A framework, and guided by the principles of Integration, Equity, Gender, Quality of Care, Convergence, Accountability, and Partnerships. Its strength is built on its six pillars of intervention packages, impacting stillbirths and newborn health. For effective implementation, a systematic plan for monitoring and evaluation has been developed with a list of dashboard indicators.

For this u have to educate mother. In rural area most of the mother dont know what she will do during preganency. Divide district in three to four sub part. Every part has its own hospital setup. At that centre educate the mother for take care of pregnancy , and child. For that require e attendence of trainer at the time of training. And make software on that presentation is in picture form. And when trainer is start to give training u should know what trainer has cover all the topic or not.

We should trun small district hospitals in to the medical college with small number of students like 5 to 10. Any district hospital can take the load of this much students with existing infrastructure. These district hospitals can be connected digitally to main medical college to access the library and lectures. Available doctors in district hospital can work as mentor to these students. By this calculation we can have 500 new doctors every year without much additional cost.

I want to discuss the idea to change small district hospitals in medical college. Our major problem is we always think to make big medical college which took time money politics and corruption at all labels from land selection to tender to appointment. That's why it took time execution.

Hon health minister of India, today we need rapid policy changes and successful implemetations. It is impossible thing today to improve health of Indian mother and newborn with present govt efforts . Today health care in govt hospitals /clinics is pathetic.....but can be easily improved.

Sir, I am a student of National Institute of Technology, Silchar (Assam) hailing from Jorhat (Assam). I have been a regular user of the airlines service between the two cities but of late Air India has stopped its services between the two cities and Jet Airways has also stopped service of Jet Konnect between the cities. Only Jet Airways ply between the cities and they have also escalated their air fares too much. this is affecting our travel and is causing great inconvenience to us.

Sir, what I am writing know is more of a social problem, but since it is so steeped in our psyche, it needs to be tackled at high levels-it is well-known that the health condition of a majority of pregnant women is not up to the required standards-being a woman,I understand the role of the mother-in-law & husband is very important. The lady is at their mercy. Ground level health care workers, counselors & Doctors need to rope in the husband & mother-in-law too, to ensure good health
