The India Newborn Action Plan (INAP) was launched by Hon’ble Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Dr. Harsh Vardhan on 18th September, 2014 in New Delhi. It outlines a targeted strategy for accelerating the reduction of preventable newborn deaths and stillbirths in the country. INAP defines the latest evidence on effective interventions which will not only help in reducing the burden of stillbirths and neonatal mortality, but also maternal deaths. With clearly marked timelines for implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and scaling-up of proposed interventions, it is expected that all stakeholders working towards improving newborn health in India will stridently work towards attainment of the goals of “Single Digit NMR by 2030” and “Single Digit SBR by 2030.”The INAP will be implemented within the existing RMNCH+A framework, and guided by the principles of Integration, Equity, Gender, Quality of Care, Convergence, Accountability, and Partnerships. Its strength is built on its six pillars of intervention packages, impacting stillbirths and newborn health. For effective implementation, a systematic plan for monitoring and evaluation has been developed with a list of dashboard indicators.

The most of one problem in India is privatization of hospitals, the condition of govt. hospital of India is not good in these days, mostly patient who are in govt. hospital are not found good treatment. Note:- India should adopted USA healthcare system where mediclaim are use in both of private and govt or every short clinic. (if we use this system we can less a big burdon of money every class family)

according to my opinion prime minister should add in their speech ' to adopt health related preventive method, and ayurved is best for prevetion and healthy life.because i think many small diseases can be cured with healthy and nutricious food, yoga and good disciplined life style.people becomes lazy and forget importance of discipline in life. people awake in late night and sleep till 10 to11am next day.this is invitation to many health problems' .i will say' sound mind lives in a healthybody'.

Let us remember the highly scientific 'solah sanskar parampara' of our country. out of these 16 sanskars, three --- garbhadhan, semantonayan, punsavan --- are performed before birth. after birth, jaatkarma, naamkaran, karnbhedhan, annaprashan ,etc. are peformed. Out of 16, about 10 sanskars are completed in first 1000 days. therefore, under this INAP, let us integrate our sanskar parampara with modern health care systems of infant and his/her mother, for any meaningful life long outcomes.

First stop the delivery at home. Every mother should come to hospitals. The delivery at home must be made by a trained nurse. In case of any emergency, she would be able to give first aid to the mother and a vehicle to carry the patient to the nearest hospital or CHC.
