Inputs on Draft National Education Policy 2016

Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India is sharing some inputs on the Draft National Education Policy (NEP), 2016. Views and suggestions are solicited from ...
In NEP 2016 provision be made that in whole country only one Education syllabus and one Education norms should be imlemented. No state make their own Education syllabus. And teacher eligibility test should be regulated by one body in whole of the country as state language has already been included in the CTET.Then there is no need to take separate TET for teacher eligibility by the states. For betterment of students enhance the workload of the teachers so that they taught tuition in school.
Our education system needs to be changed in total. Upto six years of age children should be taught basic norms like social etiquette and need to abide by the laws, cleanliness, respect of elders, national pride, social obligations. It is useless to teach them alphabet, tables, rhymes etc.as this is not of any use in later years. Putting values in young minds will give the nation honest good citizens.
As a teacher i can say teacher should be aware sincerely about the age amd class of the learners to teach them the lessons joyfully and scientofically.Social values and ethics must be taught in time.Indian heritage and History must be taught according to the age of the learners.Vocational and practical base subjects must be taught along with computerisation. Above all teachers and parents should be highly dutyful, careful and loveable to the children. Akshya k ghosh.
I suggest under chapter 4.14 of draft NEP2016 that for graduation studies division of subjects in Art, Seience, and Commerce faculties should be abolished, and students should be given liberty to choose subjects of their choice irrespective of faculties.
I suggest under chapter 4.5 of draft NEP2016 that basic knowledge of Trade & Commerce should also be included in curriculum of class fifth to eighth, along with science and social science subjects. This will inspire students to opt self-dependency instead of seeking service in future . This will also prove spring board for the success of START-UP & STAND-UP schemes of government.
Namaste. Wish to share my views about language learning on secondary level particularly in maharashtra. Recently, activitysheets are introduced instead of questionpaper for language. But i think, there are least questions which have comparatively long answer. This may affect the acquiring of the language. This type of activity sheet should be used for third (lower level) language andnot for first one that is mothertongue. Marks and content to be written for them also seems imbalanced.
6.To reduce weight of school bags, only 4 subjects should be taught every day. Like USA, text books should be given in schools, to be kept in locker of each student.7. Teachers are not teaching in class but selecting students for tuition.Old tradition of mental status of teaching is to be again adopted by teachers. Sincere teaching so that there is no need for tuition.8. Trend of very costly international schools be banned.
11. INSTEAD OF TRAVELLING / COMMUTATION, STUDENTS CAN PHYSICALLY PLAY IN THE EVENING HOURS or UTILISE THIS TIME EFFECTIVELY. THIS PLAYING ACTIVITY WILL REFRESH-GIVE THEM ENERGY, REDUCE STRESS, INCREASE PHYSICAL FITNESS, CONCENTRATE MORE IN THEIR STUDIES AFTER EVENING HOURS, DEEP SLEEP, FRESHNESS IN THE MORNING, etc.
