Inputs on Draft National Education Policy 2016

Start Date :
Jun 29, 2016
Last Date :
Oct 01, 2016

Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India is sharing some inputs on the Draft National Education Policy (NEP), 2016. Views and suggestions are solicited from ...
3. An aptitude test should be taken from the kids from 07th to 10th grade, and track it to find out which career option would be suitable for the student.
4. Kids should also be driven towards arts (drawing/painting) as it brings out the creativity of the students.
1. Students of 07th Grade every year, should be taken to a field trip and be taught the importance of environment. They should all be asked to plant a sapling.
2. Sports needs to be inculcated in kids right from 05th Grade. Most parents are reluctant to sending their kids to play sports, due to injuries or due to losing focus on education. But, sports should in some way be mandatory atleast from 05th to 08th grade, and then students can decide if they want to continue or not.
correction: .....at all levels (primary to tertiary) and not just job/money-driven teachers
The era of knowledge-based education in world education system is almost either over or leading to be over very soon. Three components of Education, viz. Students, teachers and infrastructure, require a complete overhaul in principle. To ensure a 100% educated society we must ensure that every child, with no exception, finish his/her essential education. We need quality and dedicated teachers at all levels (primary to tertiary) and just job/money- driven people.
Child primary and high school education costs increased almost multifold. Today a 5th standard child transport, tution and annual fees in any private engliah medium school is almost 80000/_.Apparently tax exemption is negligeble for Salaried parents on such tution fees.Government has to consider putting a private english medium school policy where people can apply for scholarships OR tax exemptions to sponsor potential childs to build a better future including high skill education.
Mid day meal to be stopped and amount be utilize on betterment of education. Poor be helped by direct Credit of amount for ration in account
instead of mid day meals..transfer 2ooo in bank account of children every month..
this for bringing lunch.. this is as per attendance..70rs per day..
since there is no quality in mid day meal
good morning sir
i would like to suggest that admission in Ph.D. should be done on entrance(merit) basis not only on interview basis because in case of admission only on interview basis then it will not be fair process as our hon,ble PM has do away interview from some job to reduce corruption. and also it will help in quality research.
Thanks & regards

There's alot to take away from Finland Education system. Also I think, why do we needed to run #Skill India campaign, there is big gap between education syllabus and Job profile and its true for PSU as well as Private Sector.let say we needed Software professionals which basically needs computer knowledge, even though he has to go through primary/secondary/higher education and subjects he is not going to use in future job career.
State of Art, education policy with all and entire development of students simplified and lesser load to students, teachers and parents. If interested, schedule an appointment or inform in my mail id (shivkumar.ash@gmail.com). i will send the main points of education.
