Post office can tieup with online sellers for delivery of the material and thus earn some good money. This will be especially useful in remote areas where postal services already have good infrastructure.

Proof of residence is very important document that we have to submit to get many services like telephone, gas connection etc. However, if we move to a new place there is no single government agency which can verify and given proof of residencey. With vast network throughout India, Postal Department should be used for this purpose. This certificate issued by this department should be accepted everywhere.

Post office being one of the oldest means of communication for all us, I would like the respective authorities to kindly review the SALARIES of the employees. It has been noticed that they have a low pay scale.
Pls increase the number of employees and should be trained with all the informations. When we speak of having more easy operations; let us also think of their renumerations. So that we can say no to BRIBES !!

Post offices can transform to Information Offices. Every PO must have Audio/Video conference facilities to enable daily/weekly direct talks with respective MLA/MP. Complaints,Grievances related to any Dept or Organisation in India (State/Centre/PSU/Private) who offer any product /service to consumer should be accepted at all POs and forwarded to concerned Govt /Pvt dept. Be it defective product or poor after-sales service or harassment faced by a citizen, all complaints should be taken in a PO.
