Earlier Postal savings were very attractive, Kisan Vikas Patra was one time hit investment. Can plan some schemes to attract every citizen of india, which can bring lots of fund and can be used for infrastructure, instead of PPP, let postal dept become partner and share profits and become profit making node for govt.

Every Post Office should have Passport Processing Centers. They just need to ensure that proper Documents are submitted and forwarded to Passport Office for a minimal fee.

Payment of bills is facilitated by postal Department. however if entire/all Government Offices Bills and payments can be made through Post offices it would benefit both the Post office as well as Government

in good number of Post offices a SEPRATE COUNTER IS KEPT FOR SALE OF STAMPS AND THER EIS NOT MUCH RUSH AT THAT COUNTER. IF THE SAID COUNTER CAN BE CONVERTED INTO FULL FLEDGED COUNTER THEN IT WILL SAVE THE TIME ENERGY AND EFFORT OF PUBLIC. also at large post offices 2-4 counter are kept for sale of stamps which can be reduced to 1-2

Speed post is doing excellent job. But other courier Agencies walk away with much more volumes simply by having much much more collection centres. Why can't Post Dept. replicate this?
