please allow all the post office with railway reservation tickets counter, so that people can get easily tickets near by thier home, and they can get TATKAL tickets easily also, if govt can charge some more amount of charges for that I think its ok. Because we people used to sleep in Railway station whole night for tatkal tickets, in morning before that counter opens touts, travel agent used to come enter infront of lines . We people allow them to do this by giving more money for tkt.plz think

`transmission of registered articles is sidelined. regd articles take 5 days to reach a distance of 150kms whereas speed post is delivered on the next day itself. regd post should also be given the same priority as speed post. otherwise regd post should be abolished. rms offices should be equipped with modern gadgets and fully staffed to avoid delay in sorting and transmission of articles. most of the staff are not aware of rules . it seems no body reads the circulars properly .

The staff working in Post office are very hard working, serious & sincere.basic facilities & efficient training should be imparted to them since most of them help the Senior citizens, aged, women,blind to a maximum extent.INDIAN postal system if the world's largest & one of the best.Hence,networking not only helps them but also the public.Training to the postal people & imparting knowledge of the software used is a must.Task force should monitor the work & try to ease the procedural transaction.

Need training programme on customer service. most important need to clear internal politics between staff and need to inject fare competition and accountability from top to bottom. Indian Post really do well if they work with vision. our postman knock zopdi to bungalow and small village to big city.

Post Office Account should also be treated on a par with a bank account for the purpose of Jan Dhan Yojana. It can then be used for making DB transfers,etc. As and when RBI permits, Indian Post should apply to become a Payment Bank.

Please bring ACCOUNTABILITY in Postal operations. It would be a great achievement.

Post office should focus on providing banking and financing services now that snail post is used by only in rural India. India Post should spin off private type delivery organisation to cater delivery system for ecommarce websites like amazon, flipcart and others. Since India Post can reach any nuke and corner of country they will get benefit from this and earn much needed revenue source for India Post. This could create healthy competition within the sector.

Speedpost by INDIA POST is one of the most reliable network for delivery of goods.Tie up with reliable e-commerce sites like flipkart,amazon,homeshop,pepperfry etc to deliver products. Should have very strong and effective Grievance redress mechanism to attend to complaints of late/non delivery/poor customer service like SCORES of SEBI. First build reputation with efficient and ACCOUNTABLE customer care with sufficient manpower.Rest will take care of itself.Stop exploitation by pvt couriers.

Many post offices are functioning in small houses, particularly in a man's house who is chief staff in that post offfice(there might be 2 or 3 staffs working in that post office). His house is in some corner of that place. This is happening in many villages, in towns, even in metropolitan cities like chennai. This might be ok 10 years before. But this should be changed in these days. Then only all people of that particular area,.will go to the post offices.

Indian postal service have widest network but in case of posting capability still we have single option "postman".

I think there should be digitization.People should got message on mobile for post with postman number to reduce post return and making belief in indian post.It is a small thing in looking but effects more.

Except it,we should provide postman good vehicles and personality training.
