Any privatization of higher education must be opposed strictly as it will never take care of students interests. It will only make education a profit meking institution, where the marketable courses will become popular and all other traditional courses will suffer.Any higher educational institution that has adequate public funds to maintain an independent and critical academic atmosphere can automatically attract students from all over the world.

Education at no cost should be opened for foreign investments. It should not be considered as a tradable service. We dont need foreign universities in our country, what we need is public funded universitites which provide quality education to all irrspective of economic conditions. And the academic structure and content of public funded universitites should be structured keeping accessibility and quality of education, rather than making it compatible to foreign universities.

Education is not a commodity and neither are students consumers. Education is not something which can be used in stock trading and futures etc. This is not for profit making. Internationalization of higher education is to make foreign universities to enter our education sector to reap profits or to attract students to bring different perspectives into focus?
