Westerners developed systems for their betterment. It may not be suitable for us. Blind copying only result in chaos. We need to understand what we are and what we can be. Primary education should be corrected here. No point in simply looking westward and implement anything is there here. CBSE seems to blindly copy all these CCE and all in India just after american education system which is very wrong. They should research to find out if CCE and all work in Indian situation for Indian students.

When there are thousands of things in India, why we swallow western education. Our kids have enough things in India to engage in for a thousand years. Research in Ayurveda and its hundreds of branches can be just enough for the entire world to come to india for treatment. Research in the Tharkka sastra (debate) is enough for finding solutions for world problems. But we don't find anything great in our own knowledges. We need to establish a education system for our good life

What we study today is still after British and often US way. We study same things set by British rule even today, history, science, geography, medicine, engineering everything. Why are we not studying our own technologies and research and find new skies in our own knowledges. Mathematics, traditional medicines, astronomy, construction, yoga, tribal medicine, agriculture, indian music, its healing power, research in the medicinal properties of plants, there are thousands of things to research.

This initiative should be less to do with copying from the west. And more to do with implementing the pillars behind why international standards of education are celebrated and recognized. For example, higher ed should be measured in terms of the research paper citation impact score, research publications issued, new patents created, new industries created, etc. Not merely in terms of tying up with international education institutions

The primary and secondary education should be strengthened for all category and castes of people. The caste-based reservation should be removed and should be replaced with financial reservation. People of lower economic strata should be provided with resources to come up to the national standard. This will improve the quality of higher education when people of more or less equal level of knowledge will compete and get selected for professional studies.

Indians perform better than others in abroad but they do not get the required opportunity or environment in their own country. This gap should be bridged so that brain drain does not occur. For this the system should be strengthened because people in India work for more hours than people in abroad yet the output is less in quality as well as quality. The system of incentive and accountability in job should be there to improve the standards.
