I am an NITian and its an institute of national importance. But what i feel, even they are not even paper less....If we cann't even make our premier institutes digital how can we imagine DIGITAL INDIA a reality.. so what i think is government must start digitalisation of all the premier institutes of India...It will even make them accountable to students and largely to the society... Giving extra funds will not work much but digitalisation will make them accountable for last penny

first of all let say that im a student in sns college of engineering studying mechanical engineering course . i graduated from vidya vikasini school coimbatore.i am speaking with reference to all students that we need a standard centralised education system . many of my peers disagree on this matter , but inorder to have an open system of education we require a system in which each student is allowed to showcase their interests in order to get the best results. best to remove such obstacles.

As a student I would like to suggest the course material and lectures of premier institutes of India should be made open online like Harvard and MIT does. It would open opportunities to improve institutes. Moreover nobody in the country would be deprived of the best education the nation has.

Make MBA from IIMs a degree course and not just a diploma course. Institutes of higher learning in technology, management, medicine, governance must research in Indian heritage and ages proven best practices rather than learning from western societies.

for internationalization of education the 3year courses should be converted into 4year courses as most of the good foreign universities are reluctant to collaborate for such courses and consider our students to be underqualified.
