As being a student and an small level observer i have always criticized the way our country has set up the policy of being educated , as if we compare S.Ramanujan or Einstein and today's IIT'ians there is surely very difference as former used to think without limits and the later is bounded to scope of his books .the later is not able to discover something revolutionary like the former, as our edu. system limits us to bookish ideas. Instead we should be allowed to think limitless and pure

My country needs a change an moreover a change in my country people's mentality, that cant be done at a sudden. But, we can, just change the education system, from theory to practical, and watch and enjoy the change. I LOVE MY COUNTRY... JAI HIND

In new education policy : - First, the government will have to change at the school level because It is the base of education. A standard marks will be fixed for promotion to next class.

The education system needs a replacement of labs instead of classrooms, especially technical education. Today, we do learn about theory, but we don't have much practical knowledge. Being from technical background; I personally feel that if we have much more practicalized system of education, then, the fresher students, wont need to start with the basics when they join any industry. This will help in faster growth of our country.

Speaking of internationalizing Indian higher education, the AIU's outdated rules on recognition of foreign degrees and equivalency based on 'duration of course study' needs urgent attention. Equivalence and recognition to foreign degrees in India be based upon credits earned in study, accreditation status of university, and other such important parameters. 'Duration of study' is no longer relevant in today's increasingly digitized & globalized world that focuses on quality than quantity.

There is a huge imbalance in engineering education in India in terms of nomenclature of courses offered and number of seats sanctioned by AICTE in affiliated colleges in terms of equitable distribution. I have carried out research to analyze the imbalance in sanctioned seats geographically which I can share. It gives startling facts and gross negligence & policy failure on the part of AICTE.

It is possible to allow books in term end exams if the questions are applied in nature so that students are not required to cram even formulas. the capacity of learning to learn and life long learning must be inculcated amongst students so that they could adapt to new technologies with much support. Employers must support the students in terms of exposure to the world of work and live projects. Apprentice Act may be amended to include 6 months training as part of professional courses curricula.
