Shrimad Bhagvad Gita is one of the most influential books I have read . It familiarizes the user with the basic nature of life and death. Also , this holy book reveals the true identity of 'GOD' as an omnipresent and all knowing being . Furthermore , it contains detailed explanations on many scientific topics such as gravitation , parallel universe theory , the structure of solar system , etc. , 5000 years before the discoveries of Newton and Einstein . Written by Maharishi Valmiki .
