I am a huge fan of Sri. Ruskin Bond, whose stories and books made a major part of my childhood very very beautiful. His stories have painted a beautiful picture of Mussoorie in my mind, where I always thrive to go to. Some day, I'd definitely love to go to Mussoorie and meet Bond sir.

One novel of Prem Chand was so much touching that I stopped reading more of Munshi Prem Chand because it was TOO DIFFICULT FOR me to read Because while alone I had to wipe my TEARS many times on each page and it was difficult me to read in public place
The last one I read was about old couple who had one son and this son was sick and couple took to the Doctor who was playing tennis with his son in his posh house and did not attend the sick only son of this Old couple AND SON DIED

If we talk of favourites that book of my daughter is one of such
One book Parda written by Yashpal when I read I found it so strangly nice that I have given examples to many to read and save their destiny as assumed by the writer Yashpal Because many people still are living in their own paradise which is a hell This book has taken place in my shelf of favourites I did not find much collection of Yashpal but the Parda itself is A super collection
When I first started reading novels
