"Sahitya Samrat"- Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay - versatile and one of the very first Bengali to write in Bengali from the Mother of Indian Languages - Sanskrit. It is very tough to understand his novels or satires but if you can get the real taste of it, you can feel the difference. It is the Bengali Literature at its best.

Tamil Nadu CM and his ministers are bent on divisive method by calling Central Govt. as Union Govt. Recently, CM- TN referred Constitution quoting " India, namely Bharat, and Union of states. My view is India first to which all the states United. We have Central list, State List and Concurrent list and the reference of Union is concurrent list. Hence, if he refers any issues like water sharing, inter-state dam, GST, to Union Govt., you may safely say it is not refered to Central but other state.

Once Indic civilization which was nevertheless in uniformity but believing in diversity had preached on thing that knowledge and music transcend above any physical boundary so kings & wealth r respected by their subjects but enlightened ones with knowledge & wisdom r respected beyond borders & boundary. So we live by the principles of seekers and yogis but the present materialistic civilizations r chasing and running behind wealth & comfort ultimately annihilating everything to showup hegemony.

Sir, why did Adi Shankara put Puri a most eminent pilgrim place one among four dham of Hindu lord residing place? May be Puri Madala Panji chronicles would throw some light on it but we odia had never succumbed to anyother religions bcz of lord Jagannath. we in the core of our heart live by him, for him and also die for him. Lord Jagannath and odia r practically inseparable in mind and heart, so on the occasion of today's "Snana Purnima" I remember my Lord how beautiful bathing on snana mandap.

During classical languages status bidding by odia and bengali to be recognised by govt of India, a competition had started between these two languages bcz once bengali r stating that odia is not a complete language but a mis pronounced bengali one which was finally decided by then Calcutta High court in favour of odisha. So we odia cherished on our King Poet Upendra Bhanja an unparalleled poet may be more worth than others standing a pole apart who showed the light to bengali intellectuals, sowon
