The Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD), Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment (MSJE), in collaboration with MyGov, invites comments and suggestions from stakeholders and the general public on the draft accessibility standards for the Services Sector. These draft standards, which identify non-negotiable rules, have been prepared to strengthen the creation of barrier-free environments in accordance with the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 and relevant rules.

All interested individuals are requested to carefully examine the proposed standards and submit their feedback, comments, and suggestions on the MyGov platform, ensuring that personal details are entered accurately during registration.

Direct access shall be provided to the disabled persons to approach bus or train without any hurdle or hiderans. 10 .special audio signal shall be provided to the user appliances 11. the appliances shall be recognized or identified universally and should have same standards 12. the standards or user instructions shall be printed on appliance in universal language. and should be printed pictorially. 13 , Applinces shall be manufactured in such a way thay wshall be light weight, robust, accedent free, user friendly, easily accessbel

My comments are as follws 1. First every should respect disabled , since they born just like us. They are also created like us by God 2. Rules and regulations , rights applied for all citizens shall be same including disabled . 3. Civic sense shall be developed and encouraged among citizens about disabled ones. 4. some times we are observing in media that disabled persons are thinking and acting more than an abled person. 5. laws should be framed and enforced citizens to help them when any one found neede help. 6. First piority shall be given to them while climbing , bus or train., 7. First priority shall be given to disabled persons while issues tickets or while rendering services in private and public offices. 8. they should not be allowed to be in queue .
