🔹 Adopt Universal Design Make accessibility a core design principle from the start—for all users, not just persons with disabilities. 🔹 Set Clear, Measurable Standards Include specific guidelines for ramps, signage, tactile paths, restrooms, and vehicles to avoid vague implementation. 🔹 Mandate Digital Accessibility Ensure websites, apps, and kiosks follow WCAG 2.2 guidelines for screen readers and easy navigation. 🔹 Multimodal Communication Public transport must have audio, visual, and tactile announcements to support diverse needs. 🔹 Regular Accessibility Audits Introduce third-party audits and public certification every 3–5 years to ensure accountability. 🔹 Train Transport Staff Make sensitivity and disability-awareness training mandatory for frontline staff. 🔹 Include Rural & Semi-Urban Areas Apply standards beyond major cities to ensure equitable access across all regions. 🔹 Support Accessible Private Transport.
