Rape and murders in India are serious issues that have garnered significant attention both domestically and internationally. It's a request from my side that you should speak on this issue especially the incident happened in Kolkata and negligence of many people with authorities. Crimes against women, including rape and murder, have been on the rise. In 2021, India recorded the highest number of crimes against women ever, with over 428,278 cases. This includes kidnappings, rapes, domestic violence, and assaults. Crimes against women, including rape and murder, have been on the rise. Rape survivors face significant barriers to obtaining justice and critical support services. Despite legal reforms, many survivors struggle with societal stigma, police apathy, and lengthy judicial processes. There should be effective implementation of existing laws, public awareness campaigns and comprehensive support services for survivors.

Honourable Prime Minister Ji,

For the past three years, our B-11 Vasant Kunj community in New Delhi has celebrated a unique initiative called the Dhanyawaad Lunch on Independence Day. This event honors the unsung heroes of our households—domestic helps, staff, gardeners, cleaners, and security personnel—who contribute significantly to our daily lives. This year, we hosted around 200 invitees, expressing our heartfelt gratitude with cultural activities and a special lunch.

This initiative, possibly the first of its kind in Delhi, has been recognized by various public representatives for its uniqueness. We humbly request your esteemed leadership to consider mentioning this initiative in *Mann Ki Baat* or other media platforms to inspire similar practices nationwide. This gesture could reflect our country’s deep respect for those who support us every day.

Warm regards,
Sudhakar Patnaik
President, RWA B-11

Respected Sir,

I would like to mentioned few ideas to be imparted in School and other institutes:
1. Civic Sense: Although education is imparted in schools, still we see, throwing of ediable packets like chips, chocolates in open areas. In village and remote areas,we dont have regular clean up like city does, waste are accumulated in rivers and water bodies. This must be check by schools and local govt bodies, like montly or annual clean drive or a school campaign.
2. First Aid/Civil Defence/Disaster management: With increasing natural calamites like flood, landslide, earthquake, there must be a regular mock drill in schools on how to tackle such situation. And with increase vehicle population, road accidents are common, every petrol pump station must have emergengy or first Aid centre. Electrocution and drowning like situation during flood are common, Mock drill by department on how to tackle such situation also must be done.

Respected Sir,
Jai Hind !!
Sir, I would like to bring your kind attention to the light of the Nirbhaya incident 2012 and now recent Kolkata incident. The women in our country are being subjected to violence again and again. In this regard, prevention of crime is more required rather than just regular policing. It is time to implement a suitable self-defense technique for our girl child from the school level where they can learn this life saving skill from their childhood. Such self-defense Krav-Maga module was successfully included and implemented in the outdoor curriculum of the LBSNAA, Mussoori since the 2021 foundation course of all India services trainees and in due course, subsequently this training module was successfully completed at VSSC, Tvm, Kerala. This is the right time to strengthen and empower our girls’ students with this life-saving skill based on Krav-Maga at the school level and college level with basic and advanced level modules, respectively.
Your Sincerely, Hari
