बड़े अफ़सोस की बात है जिस हिंदुस्तान में मैं हूं वहां इंसान और कानून की महत्ता कम और कट्टरवाद का महतव ज्यादा है! मुस्लिम पर्सनल लॉ के नाम पर लड़कियों की ज़िन्दगी को बहुट ही खूबसूरती से तबाह किया जा रहा है चार शादी, हलाला, मदरसा प्रैक्टिस और तलाक़ का इस्तमाल कट्टरता के साथ करके मुझ जैसे सिमटी हुई लड़कियों के साथ निकाह कर तलाक़ देकर बिखेर कर ज़िन्दगी की तबाही का काम धर्म के नाम पर किया जा रहा है, मेरे शोहर ने ३ शादिया की सब के साथ खेल रचा और मुस्लिम लॉ का नाम देकर उसपर चादर डालने की कोशिश हो रही है, एक लड़की कैसे और किस तरह से इस कट्टरवाद से लड़े? में लड़ना चाहती हूँ में इस कट्टरवाद को बंद करवाना चाहती हूँ क्यूंकि मुसलमान की बेटी भी इस हिंदुस्तान की बेटी है, में कचरा नहीं हूँ और न ही चाहती हूँ की किसी भी बेटी को इस्तमाल कर कचरा समझ तलाक़ देकर छोड़ा जाये न्यायालय के हर कदम पर पैसा है और शायद इसी वजह से मेरे कदम लड़खड़ा रहे है, हिंदुस्तान में एक रेपिस्ट को गन्दी नज़र से देखा जाता है लेकिन मुहम्मद अरशद जैसा इंसान ऑफिशियली निकाह कर लड़कियों का ऑफिसियल रेप हर रात इस्लाम का नाम लेकर कर रहा है.

सर, हमारे देश में स्वातंत्र्य पुर्व समय में महात्मा गांधी जी ने स्वच्छता का आग्रह करते हुए के स्वच्छता कर्म के साथ साथ प्रभावी रूप से जनजागरण किया था। उन्होंने कहा था कि स्वच्छता उतनी ही ज़रूरी है जितनी कि स्वतंत्रता।
जब आप पहली बार देश के प्रधानमंत्री बने तब से लेकर आज तक आपने ने देशवासियों को स्वच्छता का आग्रह के साथ साथ प्रभावी रूप से काम किया है।उसका परिणाम यह हुआ कि आज देश के गांव गांव में अधिकाधिक शौचालय बन रहे हैं। अगर हमारे गांव कि बात किया जाये तो हमारे गांव में लोगों ने खुले शौच करना बंद कर दिया है। पहले नाक को रूमाल बांधके रास्ते से चलना पड़ता था। कुछ साल पहले की बात अलग थी और आज की बात बहुत अलग है।
एक वाक्य में कहा जाए तो तो मैं कह सकता हूं कि, स्वच्छता में मेरा देश बदल रहा है आगे बढ़ रहा है।
