Respected PM Ji, There are lot of effective transformation undergoing in our country since you assume the Prime Minister post. One of the vital initiatives is DIGITAL INDIA.
In this forum, I would like to kindly bring to your attention that Public Sector Units(PSU) play a key role in the Indian economy, approximately 15% of GDP of our country is generated from PSUs. At present there are more than 300+ PSUs functioning in our country.
To align all the PSU with the nation goal towards “Digital India” and IT revolution, it become very mandatory to strengthen the Information and Communication Technology verticals. At present there are no dedicated separate department for "INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY", hence it is requested to kindly consider to form the department for ICT in all PSUs and Government organization for the effective implementation of IT and automation , policy formulation and liaison with Government.
