making Jammu a smart city is a wonderful idea.The development must be sustainable.the city must have a very good drainage system.The roads must have holes for water to seep into the ground rather than into the drainage. City needs better transportation and roads.city also needs better employment opportunities so that youth of the city donot have to migrate to other parts of the country. Jammu has a industrial area that already have huge potential in becoming a major manufacturing park in the region. City desperately needs a small metro rail system and a new bustand. With a little landscaping it can convert itself into a beautiful city attracting tourism The electricity system in the city olso needs overhaul

Ethnicity of Jammu should remain intact in the process to make it smart city.. since its the most rich heritage place of India.. Employment generation opportunities should develop

The tagline should be 'Planning Jammu on inter-disciplinary vision to yield socio-economic-physical development, progress and happiness for the citizens to make it more efficient and productive'.
