Kautiya's Arthshastra is a unique book on politics and public administration. This book should include in syllabus because Bharat was very rich and powerful nation in the world at the time of Maurya period. Acharya Chanakya or Vishnu Gupt was an incredible mentor. We should learn a lot from his book. He trained a boy and made him king of complete India. He brought 560 states under one flag of Bharat.

Blue Book for mentoring is one of the good idea by present government. I would like to suggest government or authority to recall our culture and the mode of education in the ancient time when our nation used to called golden bird.
We are most ancient civilization on the planet. We have been taught other nation from thousands of year. We had been very rich culture of education. Our Maharshi, Rishi, Muni and saints were actually very learned person. They were scientist, writer, poet together...

Dear Sir, Greetings of the day
Consider all those unsung mentors of all age groups; who have contributed for lower socioeconomic peoples- to upgrade their basic needs of life, and still contributing in their field; does not matter they are formally qualified or not; write 10 to 15 lines in the book about them with an example of their work, it will encourage all others of all economic strata and age groups.

Sir, the Simon's Principle is applicable for mentoring. The theoretical knowledge may be useless while working in the field. There are different principles for single work. For examples, "Look before you leap" and "One who hesitates is lost", are two just opposite principles to work in the field. But which one is applicable in a particular situation, it will be decided by the Officer working in the filed, not by an expert sitting in a closed chamber. That is applicable for mentoring.

Sir, Mentoring requires practical expertise & knowledge in the relevant field. For examples, the Judges & Advocates have practical expertise of trail but they have no practical experience of field investigation. So, Judges & Advocates may be mentors for trial proceedings but not for field investigation. Until a person have practical expertise of working in an specific area, he/she cannot be a mentor for that area of work. The same principle is applicable in all areas of works & mentoring.
