The Ministry of Civil Aviation has issued draft rules to ensure ease of using drones in India on the basis of trust, self-certification, and non-intrusive monitoring. The Drone Rules, 2021, once notified, will supersede the UAS Rules, 2021, which came into force on March 12 this year.

The Rules aim to make the process of owning, possessing, exporting, importing, manufacturing, trading, leasing, operating, transferring, or maintaining a drone in India, simpler and hassle-free. For that, the draft rules seek to abolish the requirement of various approvals, ranging from certificate of conformance, certificate of maintenance, import clearance, to student remote pilot licences.

Besides, it proposes the development of drone corridors for cargo deliveries and a drone promotion council to be set up to facilitate a drone-friendly regulatory regime in the country.

Click here to view The draft of Draft Drone Rules, 2021, which is issued for public consultation for seeking feedback and suggestions.

The last date of submission is August 5, 2021.

All drone users to register details of their drone along with their own details.Their should be online approval system which the concern should apply and get the approval certificate prior flying. The purpose and other details has to mentioned in the portal..Any party asking for drone shooting should first ask for the approved certificate .Strict legal action to be introduced and taken incase of non adherence as this is impacting country's safety and security

Any drone missing a unique id number with the other details will be a rogue drone. Every flight of the drone will be monitored in the digital sky platform so when any remote pilot tries to fly a drone, its fly path will automatically be registered in the platform.

On suggestions of drone rules 2021 1. The drone should be made in India. 2. The drone should contain strong particles. So that if someone hit or bend it, it should be strong. 3. It should have clear camera and safety sencer, so that if someone through or come near it should be have protected. 4. It should have strong and much battery power so that it could go faraway to get messages from country to country or state to state or district to district. So we can get messages what is happening
