The Ministry of Civil Aviation has issued draft rules to ensure ease of using drones in India on the basis of trust, self-certification, and non-intrusive monitoring. The Drone Rules, 2021, once notified, will supersede the UAS Rules, 2021, which came into force on March 12 this year.

The Rules aim to make the process of owning, possessing, exporting, importing, manufacturing, trading, leasing, operating, transferring, or maintaining a drone in India, simpler and hassle-free. For that, the draft rules seek to abolish the requirement of various approvals, ranging from certificate of conformance, certificate of maintenance, import clearance, to student remote pilot licences.

Besides, it proposes the development of drone corridors for cargo deliveries and a drone promotion council to be set up to facilitate a drone-friendly regulatory regime in the country.

Click here to view The draft of Draft Drone Rules, 2021, which is issued for public consultation for seeking feedback and suggestions.

The last date of submission is August 5, 2021.

Sir, only our Indian Army should use drones, because if the general public starts using drones, then it will affect the unity and integrity of our country, the privacy of our country will end

Namaskar modi ji Drone ek adhunik jamane ki machine hai magar isko isstmal karne ke liye licences issue hona chahiye kyonki ye galat haatho me jayega to bhot nuksaan kr sakta hai Jessa ki aap kayi ghatna sun chuke hai aur us license me licesnse dhari ki puri detail ho aur drone manufacturing company bhi drone ke serial no. aur mobile ki tarah chip system ho jisse se gov usse track kr sake aur public use ke liye light aur small drone ho jisse iska istmal khuch galat saman ko pahuchane me na ho

The Drones operation guidelines and instructions can be different for cities and villages. At villages it can be relaxed a bit as compare to cities policy. Agricultural area very much requires drones due to shortage of labour as well as some of teh tough activityies like climbing tree spaying pesticides into farm filds as well as trees is very difficult. There is severe shortage of labour for climbing tree etc. These can be done through Drones . Also rules and regulations be relaxed for them.
