Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has prepared a strategy paper entitled “National Strategy on Additive manufacturing (AM)” for promoting various verticals of the AM sector, including machines, materials, software and designs to leverage the untapped business opportunities that will unfold in the near future.

Additive manufacturing (AM) is the digital revolution of industrial production that embraces innovation in digital processes, communications, imaging, architecture and engineering to provide digital flexibility and efficiency to manufacturing operations. India needs to adopt an integrated approach towards this emerging technology in all segments including defence and public sectors, especially within the nation’s small, medium and large-scale industries to keep pace with rapid global manufacturing prowess.

Considering the importance, the strategy aims at promoting the creation of a conducive ecosystem for design, development and deployment, and to overcome technical and economic barriers for local manufacturers to seamlessly adopt Additive Manufacturing. This is also expected to facilitate the creation of a support base of domestic manufacturers for setting up of operations with supporting ancillaries in India by foreign companies as well as Global AM leaders.

माननीय प्रधानमंत्री जी कृपया करके आप जो पेट्रोल और डीजल का डेली रेट ऑनलाइन करते हैं पर हर पम्प पर एक रेट नहीं मिलता है , पेट्रोल पंप पर दुरी के हिसाब से रेट में बढ़ोतरी रहता है तो राज्य में एक रेट कैसे रहता है। कृपया करके इसका हल समाधान करने कि गुजारिश करता हूं।

Contd --+The printers should be 100 percent under the manufacturer support with multiple machines from the same company.The idea is to avoid down time.This type of facilities should be open for talented qualified engineers.This can open up quality assurance for new generation materials with testing facilities before mass production.We pay a premium for any imported defence safety equipments.DefenseTask should be spelt out for development within the country.

National strategy on AM sector is a welcome step in the fast changing world.I have seen items which were time consuming and needed complex toolings could be easily developed with this process.I feel advanced materials like graphene printers can do wonders for development of defence safety equipments as it's light weight and stronger then steel.Component Proto typing, field trials, subjecting to extreme testing is possible.The printers should be 100 percent under the manufacturer support - Contd-

More profit is of no use but maintain standard.
